The material may then be pyrolyzed to produce a gaseous fuel and any remaining material in any of the plurality of chambers may be removed. The gaseous fuel may be sent to an afterburner where other elements may be added to generate heated gas having a predetermined temperature. The heated gas may be used in any of a variety of devices, such as a heat exchanger or a dryer, and may be used for any of a variety of reasons, such as the generation of heat.

摘要： A method is described for the production of refuse-derived fuel, in particular from urban solid waste, which is subjected to rough grinding, aerobic digestion in a closed space and in a flow of air, possible screening to separate the fine screened product and possible removal of metals, final grinding to a medium (approximately 1 decimetre) or fine size (a few centimetres), and compacting for transport and possible storage, before incineration. According to the invention, preferably during the phase of fine grinding, the addition of soda to the waste is foreseen, in at least a sufficient quantity for neutralising the acidity present in the same. The object of the invention is also the refuse-derived fuel obtained in this way, which can be used in incinerators, possibly in co-combustion with waste not neutralised at the outset.

摘要： A system for recycling refuse comprises mixing a predetermined amount of refuse with a predetermined amount of plastic, heating the mixture until the plastic becomes liquid, forming the liquified mixture into a desired shape such as a brick, and cooling the mixture. This results in a solid brick in which the refuse is encapsulated, and the brick can be used in construction. Prior to mixing, the refuse may be dried and ground to a particulate size as may be desired. The plastic may be preheated prior to the mixing step to aid in forming the desired shape of the article which uses the refuse in its encapsulated form.
