摘要： A device for dispensing a selected article comprises: carriers for carrying rows of articles; dispensing means present on the front side of the carriers for dispensing one article at a time; pushing means added to each row for pushing a selected row forward, whereby this row slides until the foremost article falls onto the dispensing means; detecting means for detecting the passage of a falling article and generating an associated detection signal; a control panel for indicating the selection in respect of an article to be dispensed; a central control unit which is connected to the control panel and which, on the basis of the information received from the control panel, activates the pushing means of a selected row and ends the activation when the detection signal is received; and a dispensing opening connecting to the dispensing means.

摘要： Apparatus for conveying products in a vending machine comprises: a housing (1), and a conveyor (25) comprising a helical member (26) located in the housing, the conveyor being pinned at one end for rotation about the longitudinal axis of the helical member, which axis is at an angle to the horizontal in use, whereby products (41) supported between the turns of the helical member and restrained against rotation by the housing are conveyed along the direction of the longitudinal axis as the conveyor rotates. A further aspect of the invention provides a conveyor (60) for conveying products in a vending machine, the conveyor comprising: a helical strip (61) and a core (62) extending along the longitudinal axis of the helix, at least some of the turns of the helical strip being connected to the core by connectors (83) for supporting the helical strip on the core. One side of the helical strip is arranged for supporting products on the turns of the helical strip in use, the said one side having laterally spaced raised portions in cross section in a plane containing the longitudinal axis of the helix.
