An insulation member is disposed between the at least a portion of the auxiliary body and the main body, and a bonding layer is disposed in at least one of an area between the insulation member and at least one area of the main body, or between the insulation member and the auxiliary body.

In particular, the present invention relates to housings for electronic devices such as tablet computers, slate computers, for example, which protect the electronic devices and can be easily cleaned. The use of electronic devices such as a tablet computers is becoming ever more widespread. However, tablet computers are electronic devices which need to be protected from damage in use, whether from mishandling including being dropped onto hard surfaces, splashed with water, chemicals etc. and they need to be capable of being cleaned with detergents - especially in healthcare facilities, for example, whilst, of course, retaining their functionality. Accordingly, a market has developed for cases for tablets. The present invention seeks to provide a solution to the problems addressed above. The present invention seeks to provide a tablet enclosure that is provided with a scratch proof screen that does not impede any functionality of tablet control, via screen manipulation and/or switches.
