摘要： A steering wheel lock having a generally flat circular cover (1) which substantially totally covers the steering wheel (12) to prevent an authorised access to the wheel or turning of the wheel. The cover (1) includes a perimeter lip (2) to prevent side access to the wheel and to maintain the cover (1) overlapping about the wheel (12). One side of the open diametric face of the device includes a plate section (3), and the opposite side includes a removable diametrically reciprocable pin (7). The pin (7) is attached to a long rigid arm (4) which is lockable in a diametric position by lock (5) which is rigid with the cover (1). The bar (4) prevents substantial turning of the device by contacting surrounding vehicle structure and a spigot (13) prevents substantial turning of the wheel (12) relative to the device.

摘要： A lock (1) for steering wheel is composed of a longitudinal lock frame (41) and a buckle body (43). An approximate U-shape slot (411) is provided on the body of the frame. A lock device (3) is provided on the top of the approximate U-shape slot. The buckle body (431) is mainly composed of a block on the inside of which a bridge buckle (432) is provided corresponding to the longitudinal lock frame. The interlock between the bridge buckle and the lock device forms a lock relationship that can close the longitudinal lock frame and the block. Since the approximate U-shape slot of the longitudinal lock frame passes the shaft of the steering wheel and the bridge buckle is interlocked with the lock device, the block can keep the steering wheel from rotating.

A lock (20) inhibits removal of the cover (1, 3, 21) when the lock (20) is in the unlocked configuration thereof. Optionally, a bar (107) extends through the cover (1, 3, 21) to prevent unauthorized removal of the cover and to inhibit rotation of the steering wheel (50). Thus, the device deters theft of the airbag by preventing a thief from having access thereto and deters theft of the automobile by preventing the thief from driving the automobile.

摘要： Two hinged parts (12) and (14) are moved about a pivot (34) to trap a steering wheel between them. A pivotally mounted locking bar (22) on the part (12) has openings (30). The bar (22) could be swung down about its pivot (32) such that a selected one of these openings moves over a loop (28) extending on the other half (14). A padlock can then be passed through the loop (28) to lock the device in position. In a storage configuration the locking bar (28) can be swung down into the space normally occupied by the wheel and trapped between the two parts.
