    • A ride-height adjustment system (100) for a vehicle (10) comprises its suspension system, which is adjustable to change the ride height of a vehicle in which it is fitted. The system has a first means, to detect a preliminary end-of-journey (EOJ) event, such as seat belt unbuckling or ignition switch-off. A controller adjusts the suspension system in a first movement in response to detection of said preliminary EOJ event, to change the ride height of the vehicle towards an access ride height of the vehicle. The access ride height is a predetermined ride height that facilitates egress from and entrance to the vehicle. Second means detect opening of a door of the vehicle. When the ride height of the vehicle remains different from the access ride height after said first movement, the controller is adapted to further adjust the suspension system in a second movement in response to said door-opening detection. This further changes the ride height of the vehicle towards said access ride height of the vehicle.

    • An end-of-journey (EOJ) system (100) for use in a vehicle comprises a collection means (50, 52) to receive, and collect into time limited sets, measurements of vehicle parameters (42-48) during a journey of a vehicle in which the system is fitted. Comparison means (56) compare said sets with recorded sets of comparable parameters that are indicative of an imminent EOJ event. Prediction means (56) issue a prediction of an EOJ event and a level of confidence with which a predicted EOJ event will occur in a time frame or distance travelled. In response to said prediction, and the level of confidence accompanying said prediction, initiation means (60) initiate an EOJ mode of one or more vehicle systems. A vehicle incorporating such a system comprises one or more vehicle systems that have an end-of-journey (EOJ) mode of operation. The EOJ predictor (56) includes a learning algorithm that records parameters that lead to an EOJ event for future predictions.

    • Ein Erfindung betrifft eine Luftfederungsanlage eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit mindestens zwei Federbälgen (3, 4), die auf gegenüberliegenden Fahrzeugseiten einer Fahrzeugachse angeordneten Luftfedern zugeordnet und über jeweils mit einem Niveauregelventil (5, 6) versehene Anschlussleitungen (7, 8) mit einer Hauptdruckleitung (9) verbindbar sowie gegenüber dieser absperrbar sind, wobei die Hauptdruckleitung (9) über ein Hauptdruckventil (10) wechselweise mit einer Druckluftquelle (12) und einer Druckluftsenke (11) verbindbar ist, und wobei die Anschlussleitungen (7, 8) der mindestens zwei Federbälge (3, 4) über eine mit einer Drossel (14) versehene und durch ein Sperrventil (15, 21) absperrbare Verbindungsleitung (13) miteinander in Verbindung stehen. Zur Vereinfachung und Erhöhung der Funktionssicherheit der betreffenden Ventilanordnung ist vorgesehen, dass das Sperrventil (21) mechanisch ansteuerbar ausgebildet und derart mit dem Niveauregelventil (6) des auf der fahrbahnäußeren Fahrzeugseite angeordneten Federbalgs (4) gekoppelt ist, dass das Sperrventil (21) bei geschlossenem Niveauregelventil (6) geöffnet und bei geöffnetem Niveauregelventil (6) geschlossen ist.
