    • A mediation server for mediating subscription information to a communication device from a network operator providing network connectivity is provided. The server includes a management unit for managing context information of a communication device, which includes data relating to service provided by a network operator; an obtaining unit for obtaining device information of the communication device, which includes data needed to obtain subscription information from a network operator; a selecting unit for selecting, using the context information, a network operator that provides the best service to the communication device out of network operators that are able to provide network connectivity to the communication device; and a request unit for sending a request, with the obtained device information to the selected network operator, for subscription information which is to be used for the communication device to connect to the selected network operator as a home network operator.

    • There are provided a communication method applied to an IMS through which a peer to peer data streaming is performed in an established session between a first user equipment (Home1) which provides data streaming but can afford to manage a single data stream and a single session, and a second user equipment (Home2) which demands and receives the data streaming. This method comprises the steps of: registering Home1's presence to a presence server (104) in the IMS; registering Home2's presence to the presence server; sending a RTSP command to start the video data streaming from Home2 to the Home1, performing the data streaming from Home1 to Home2 via a multicast router (101) in the IMS in response to the RTSP command. Then, when a third user equipment (MOBILE1) enters the established session between Home1 and Home2 to share the data streaming from Home1 with the Home2, the method further comprises the steps of: forking the established session at a CSCF (103) so that MOBILE1 can share the established session; and branching out the video data stream at the multicast router to MOBILE1.
