摘要： A fluoropolymer coating composition is described comprising an aqueous liquid medium, fluoropolymer particles dispersed in the aqueous liquid medium, and at least one aziridine compound. The aziridine compound comprises at least two aziridine groups (i.e. polyaziridine) or at least one aziridine group and at least one alkoxy silane group. In another embodiment, an article is described comprising a substrate wherein a surface of the substrate comprises a coating comprising fluoropolymer particles; and a reaction product of at least one aziridine compound comprising at least two aziridine groups or at least one aziridine group and at least one alkoxy silane group. The coating can be utilized as a primer for bonding a non-fluorinated substrate to a fluoropolymer film and/or the coating can be used as an (e.g. outer exposed) surface layer. In some embodiments, the article may be the (e.g. backside) film of a photovoltaic module.

摘要： Described herein is a peroxide curable, partially fluorinated polymer derived from: (a) comonomers comprising: (i) 5-28 wt.% of tetrafluoroethylene; (ii) 30-70 wt.% of vinylidene fluoride; and (iii) a monomer selected from 10-45 wt.% of hexafluoropropylene and 10-40 wt, % of a perfluoro ether monomer of the formula R f -0-(CF 2 ) n -CF=CF 2 wherein n is 1 or 0, and Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl residue which may or may not be interrupted by one or more than one oxygen atoms; (b) 0.01 -2wt % of a perfluorinated iodinated vinyl ether based on the total amount of comonomer, wherein the perfluorinated iodinated vinyl ether has the formula: F 2 C=CF-(CF 2 ) m -(0) o -(CF 2 ) n -O-(CF 2 ) p -I where m is 0 or 1; n is an integer of 0-5: o is 0 or 1: and p is an integer of 1- 5, wherein when n is 0, o is 0; and (c) 0.01 -2 wt% of a chain transfer agent based on the total amount of comonomers wherein the chain transfer agent consists of a diiodo- fluoroalkane and a diiodo-methane. Further described are methods of making the curable partially fluorinated polymers and articles comprising the cured fluoropolymer.

摘要： The copolymer includes divalent units represented by formula: (I), one or more independently selected fluorinated divalent units, and -SO 2 X end groups. In this formula, b is 2 to 8, c is 0 to 2, and e is 1 to 8. In each SO 2 X, X is independently F, -NZH, -NZSO 2 (CF 2 ) 1-6 SO 2 X', -NZ[SO 2 (CF 2 ) a SO 2 NZ] 1-10 SO 2 X', or -OZ, wherein Z is a hydrogen, an alkali-metal cation or a quaternary ammonium cation, X' is independently -NZH or -OZ, and each a is independently 1 to 6. The copolymer has an -SO 2 X equivalent weight of up to 1000. The method includes copolymerizing components including fluorinated olefin and a compound represented by formula CF 2 =CF-CF 2 (O-C b F 2b ) c -O-(C e F 2e )-SO 2 X', wherein b, c, and e are as defined above. A method of making a membrane using the copolymer or ionomer is also provided. A polymer electrolyte membrane that includes the copolymer or the ionomer and a membrane electrode assembly that includes such a polymer electrolyte membrane are also provided.

Each X is independently F, H, or Cl; R f and R' f are each independently F or a monovalent perfluoroalkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R is F or a partially fluorinated or perfluorinated alkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R" f is a divalent fluoroalkylene having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a divalent fluorinated alkylene ether having 1 to 20 carbon atoms and at least one ether linkage; k is 0 or 1; and n, m, p, and q are each independently an integer from 0 to 5, with the proviso that when k is 0, n + m is at least 1 and p + q is at least 1. 摘要： Described herein is a composition comprising a fluorothermoplastic polymer, wherein the fluorothermoplastic polymer is derived from: (a) 60-85 mol% tetrafluoroethene; (b) 2-12 mol% hexafluoropropene; (c) 10-30 mol% vinylidene fluoride; (d) 0.2 to 5 mol% of a bromine-containing monomer. Such compositions can be used in multilayer constructions in, for example, fuel hose applications.
