    • A fuel injection device for diesel engines which is large in an injector timing duration, small in irregularity, good in responsiveness, and simple in construction. The device comprises a cylindrical body (11), an upper plunger (12) inserted into the body and capable of sliding vertically with a cam, an intermediate plunger for defining a pressure chamber (14) between it and the upper plunger, a lower plunger (16) adapted to abut against the intermediate plunger, and an injection chamber (17) provided on a lower end of the lower plunger which is adapted to receive a force from the upper plunger to jet a fuel in the injection chamber. The device further comprises a thick hole (11b) for pressure oil formed in the body for supplying an oil pressure to the pressure chamber, a timing plunger (13) adapted to move up and down according to a pressure to vary a volume of the pressure chamber, and a timing spring (15) having one end thereof abutting against the timing plunger and the other end thereof abutting against the lower plunger to move the timing plunger up and down according to a pressure.

    • An optical filter comprising a filter substrate (11) and a transparent conductive film (12) for cutting off electromagnetic waves and infrared rays (for example, a transparent conductive film sputter film), provided on the filter substrate (11) by alternately forming silver thin films and zinc oxide thin films into a multilayer structure.
