摘要： Inhalation device comprising a body (55) defining a reservoir (56) for medicament in the form of a powder, an outlet (57) through which a user can inhale, and a dosing member (53) with at least one metering recess formed therein. The dosing member (53) is moveable between a first position in which the at least one metering recess communicates with the reservoir (56) to receive a dose of powder therefrom and a second position in which the at least one metering recess communicates with the outlet (57) to permit the user to inhale the dose. The at least one metering recess is formed in a face of the dosing member which is urged into contact against a similar mating face of the body at the lower end of the reservoir to form a dynamic seal. At least one of the faces (51) is made of a flexible material having a hardness of less than 80 Shore A.

The cavity has a moulded counter advance means (61) which is adapted in use to engage the dispensing counter means on relative movement between the dispensing container system and the body to advance the dispensing counter means to indicate the dispensing of a quantity of the fluid. The body is formed with an outlet port (59) in communication with the cavity such that the fluid dispensed from the dispensing container system is dischargeable therethrough. Moreover, an aperture (100) extends through the body from the outer surface to the inner surface in alignment with the counter advance means.

摘要： There is provided a medicament dispenser for use with a medicament carrier having a plurality of pockets for containing medicament wherein said pockets are spaced along the length of and defined between two peelable sheets secured to each other. The dispenser has an opening mechanism for opening received pockets of the medicament carrier. The mechanism includes a peeler for peelably opening a pocket, said peeler including a lid driver for drivably peeling a lid sheet from a base sheet of said pocket; and an indexer for indexing pockets of a medicament carrier in use with said medicament dispenser. The mechanism additionally comprises a primer moveable between a primed position in which said primer stores mechanical energy and a release position in which the primer releases said mechanical energy to said lid driver and/or said indexer.
