摘要： The present invention relates to an access device (access point, AP) which provides a high-speed packet access service based on mobile communications, via a wireless LAN, to mobile terminals (91,92,93). Alternatively, the present invention relates to a compound terminal device having the function of such an access device. In the present invention, a mobile access device (100) or compound terminal device (101) is formed by producing the requisite software functional blocks by installation on a hardware platform for producing a normal muti-mode handset device (10) having client function with respect to a mobile packet service (a packet transmission service such as CDMA 2000, EVDO, EVDO revision A, WCDMA, HSDPA or HSUPA) and a wireless LAN a client function, or by providing or establishing the requisite software functional blocks by content downloading on a normal muti-mode handset device (10) having a client function with respect to a mobile packet service and a wireless LAN client function. Consequently, the mobile access device (100) or compound terminal device (101) according to the present invention is constituted in such a way that it can easily be obtained at low cost, and the user can more easily carry a device which incorporates the functions of a mobile access device (100), and it is constituted in such a way that it allows a considerable reduction in the costs and time required for development and authentication when bringing the mobile access device (100) or compound terminal device (101) up to a practical, usable level.
