摘要： Systems and methods for vehicle sensor learning using a low power wake-up receiver is disclosed. In a particular embodiment, a tire monitoring that comprises a low power receiver and a transceiver receives, at the low power receiver, a radio frequency (RF) activation signal from a remote device, transitions to a wake state in response to receiving the activation signal, and transmits, via the transceiver, an RF response signal including an identification code to the remote device. The remote device, such as a handheld activation tool or an activation station in an assembly line, transmits the activation signal, receives the response signal, and associates the identification code of tire monitoring sensor with a location on the vehicle. The identification code and location may be provided to the vehicle control system.

摘要： A haptic feedback mechanism for steering by wire system includes a motor. Electronic circuitry includes a node and switches for controlling the motor. A voltage sensor at the node and a motion sensor for the DC motor feed a motor control logic module that is operative to: determine if the voltage at the node is above a predetermined threshold; determine if the input motion is above a predetermined speed; and change the switches into an overcurrent protection mode if the voltage is above the predetermined threshold or the input motion is above the predetermined speed. In overcurrent protection mode, electrical power, generated by the input motion, passes through resistance and/or the motor to dissipate while maintaining haptic feedback. An endstop mechanism includes a position sensor coupled to the haptic feedback mechanism for detecting an angular position of the motor to increase feedback torque near an endstop of the motor.

The arrangement comprises: a non-linear sensor enabling to provide a signal having a characteristic that follows an exponential curve in response to a linear change in a phenomenon; an analog conversion unit to convert logarithmically the signal from the nonlinear sensor to obtain a converted signal. The conversion unit comprises a pn-junction and the conversion unit is arranged to measure the current through the non-linear sensor and to exchange said current into a current through the pn-junction, the current through the pn-junction having a linear relationship with the current through the non-linear sensor and the converted signal is the voltage across the pn-junction. In this way, a characteristic from a non- linear sensor like the resistance value of an NTC thermistor can be digitized over a large temperature range with high resolution at low cost with a low cost linear AD-converter to enable accurate measurement of temperature over a large temperature range.
