The sanitary installation consists of a structure (1) enclosed in a hood (11). The inside of the structure comprises a bowl whereon are several seats mounted on a rotary mechanism. Each time after it has been used, when the hood (11) is closed, the cleaning cycle is automatically triggered releasing counterweights (12, 19, 26). When the hood is opened by the next user, the counterweights will be raised for the next cycle.

After cleaning with pressurized water, the bowl (7) and seat (8) are dried with cold or hot air, for which purpose the cleaning device (20) is fitted with a fan.
