摘要： Embodiments of the invention provide high affinity recombinant EpCAM-binding antibodies. Methods of using a such antibodies as imaging agents, diagnostics and therapeutics are also provided. Dual-nuclear and fluorescently labeled or singly fluorescently labeled contrast agents promise the advantage of molecularly-guided surgical resection via surgical field near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging following (in the case of dual labeled agents) nuclear imaging for general localization. Currently, nodal staging of most cancers is performed following lymph node (LN) biopsy and dissection for subsequent pathological examination.

摘要： Anticancer, antimicrobial and autoimmune disease, and anti-organ rejection therapy using cytotoxic agents is improved using cytokines to prevent, mitigate or reverse adverse radiation-induced or drug-induced toxicity, especially to hematopoietic cells. Cytotoxic agents can include radioisotopes, drugs, toxins and even unconjugated antibodies. A preferred cytokine is IL-1. Higher doses of cytotoxic agents can be administered and tolerated by the patient and dose-limiting marrow toxicity can be prevented, palliated or reversed using adjunct cytokine therapy.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for dosimetry estimation for a region of interest at or around a surgically created resection cavity in a subject. These methods enable medical practitioners to estimate the amount of administered Radioimmunotherapy (RIT) agent needed to safely and effectively achieve a final Radiation Absorbed Dose (RAD). Furthermore, computer hardware and software are provided herein, so that the methods according to the invention may be automated for more efficient use. Also disclosed is a method of enhancing delivery of therapeutic antibodies that specifically bind to an extracellular stromal constituent of a tumor in a mammalian subject. The method comprises administering to a subject an effective dosage of a blocking antibody, said blocking antibodies specifically binding to said extracellular stromal constituent and blocking the binding of therapeutic antibodies to non-target tissue.

摘要： Methods of treating solid and cystic tumors are disclosed. The method comprises administering to a subject afflicted with a cystic tumor an antibody which binds to tenascin in a therapeutically effective amount. The administering step is carried out by depositing the antibody in the cyst cavity of the cystic tumor. For solid tumors, disclosed is a method involving first, removing a solid tumor from a solid tissue organ of an afflicted subject; then forming an enclosed resection cavity in the organ of the subject at the location from which the solid tumor was removed; and then administering to the subject an antineoplastic agent by depositing the antineoplastic agent in the resection cavity. Particularly preferred for carrying out the foregoing is the monoclonal antibody 81C6 and antibodies which bind to the epitope bound by monoclonal antibody 81C6.
