摘要： Techniques for supporting distributed MIMO are described. For multi-user distributed MIMO, a cell directs its transmit power toward a UE while reducing interference to UE(s) in neighbor cell(s). For single-user distributed MIMO, multiple cells concurrently send transmissions to a UE. In an aspect, a UE sends channel estimates for serving and non-serving cells to support multi-user distributed MIMO. Each cell may use the channel estimates to select UEs for data transmission and determine precoding vectors to use for data transmission to the selected UEs. In another aspect, a UE sends CQI information for serving and non-serving cells to support single-user distributed MIMO. Each cell may use the CQI information to select UEs for data transmission and determine modulation and coding schemes to use for the selected UEs. In yet another aspect, a UE determines CQI information for a serving cell by taking into account interference nulling by non-serving cells.

摘要： Aspects disclosed herein relate to channel and interference estimations in a multiple transmission point environment including an eNB and RRHs. In the disclosed aspects, one or more transmission points can signal to a UE to measure channel state conditions based on a first and a second resource pattern. The UE may receive the signaling and perform interference estimation based at least in part on the first resource pattern, and channel estimation based at least in part on the second resource pattern. The UE may generate a channel state report based on the interference and channel estimations, and transmit the channel state report to a transmission point. The eNB may employ the received channel state report in scheduling one or more resources for use by the UE, and may select or adjust network traffic on the first and the second resource pattern, to affect the resulting channel and interference estimation.

The first set of information bits is encoded into a first set of coded bits, while the second set of information bits is encoded into a second set of coded bits. The first and second sets of rate-matched coded bits are interleaved using various interleaving methods to generate an interleaved set of coded bits.

Requests for aperiodic channel status reports are generated in systems that use multiple carriers and operate in multiple-in-multiple-out (MIMO) configurations. The request enables a user equipment to configure two transport blocks for the transmission of channel status information only. In one aspect, a UE may determine at least one first downlink control information (DCI) format to monitor on a first carrier. A UE-RS pattern can be selected, yielded, etc. based upon a number of symbols from a subframe utilized for downlink transmission. At least one time domain component of the UE-RS pattern can vary based upon the number of symbols from the subframe utilized for the downlink transmission. For instance, the at least one time domain component can be punctured, time-shifted, and so forth. Further, UE-RSs can be mapped to resource elements of the subframe as a function of the UE-RS pattern. Moreover, a UE can utilize the UE-RS pattern to detect UE-RSs on the resource elements of the subframe. Further, the UE can estimate a channel based upon the UE- RSs.
