    • There are provided a a security inspection system comprising ultra- wideband transmitters (104) and receivers (103) and a method of security inspection. The method comprises scanning a walk¬ through inspection space (200) along with an inspected person passing there through to yield collected data informative of scattered signals in association with respective channels, wherein the ultra- wideband transmitters and receivers are arranged at both sides of the inspection space. The method further comprises dividing the inspection space into a plurality of subspaces such that each voxel in the inspection space belongs to one and only one subspace, providing image reconstruction separately for each subspace of the plurality of the subspaces, wherein image reconstruction for voxels residing in a given subspace is provided using collected data corresponding to a set of channels selected for the given subspace in accordance with predefined rules; and using image reconstruction results to detect a concealed object.

    • A circuitry for generating a narrow impulse including an input device coupled to a matching circuitry that is coupled to a step recovery diode (SRD). The input device is configured to receive a succession of digital input signals, each characterized by having high level and low level portions. The signals having less than 50% duty cycle. The input device is configured to drive forward the SRD through the matching circuitry during the high level portion of the digital signal, whereby the SRD stores sufficient power for generating the narrow impulse following the falling edge of the high level portion of the digital input signal.

    • Herewith disclosed a computerized method of volume rendering, a volume rendering tool and a radar imaging system capable of rendering volumetric data. The method of volume rendering comprises obtaining volumetric data represented as a plurality of voxels, sampling the voxels at different resolutions corresponding to the limited number of two-dimensional elements per sample, and compositing the two-dimensional elements in order to calculate values to be assigned to respective pixels for visualization.
