摘要： The disclosure embraces an apparatus for handling wire at a work station of an electric coil making machine where conductive wire is wrapped around a spool to form an electric coil with a number of spools being carried from work station to work station on spool carriers mounted on a turret head; at a final work station a pair of clamps are mounted on arms which are pivoted from a rest position to a clamping position to grasp and hold the wire extending between adjacent spools on the turret head while the wire is severed by a knife; the length of wire between a spool and an adjacent clamping device is then wrapped on a connecting peg of an individual spool until the wire is broken; the clamping device is then pivoted back to its rest position for disposal of the wire remnants held by the clamping device.

摘要： There is disclosed a wire coiling or winding apparatus comprising a turret table means and a plurality of winding mandrels rotatably and drivingly mounted at said turret table means. A drive mechanism drivingly engages with one of said winding mandrels when the turret table means has assumed a predetermined position. A winding spindle is continuously coupled with the drive mechanism, said winding spindle having an axis piercingly extending through the pitch circle of said turret table means and parallel to the axis of rotation thereof. Means are provided for mounting said winding mandrels at said turret table means for axial displacement, and there are means for selectively engaging and disengaging from said winding spindle through axial displacement that winding mandrel momentarily located at said predetermined position of said turret table means.

摘要： A multiple coiling machine for winding electrical coils with different coil wires and different coil wire gauges . A wire guide head is pivotally mounted on a support and has at least two wire guides offset from each other. The wire guide head is pivotable so that one of the wire guides is in a winding position and the other wire guide is in a stand-by position. Two clamps are positioned on the head adjacent the pivot axis of the wire guide head. The wire guide head has a slit in the shape of an arc through which a pair of reversing pins is disposed at a distance from each other on the support. Two clamps and two wire guides are provided on opposite sides of the arc. The coil wire is guided around the reversing pin and can be pulled back into the appropriate wire guide by means of the clamp which is pivotable into the stand-by position. The wire guide head is mounted in a bore of the support by means of a pin, so that it is pivotable. A pair of stop faces limit the pivoting movement of the wire guide head.
