摘要： A control signal generator circuit for an annunciator such as an electric tone in the form of a buzzer or bell consisting of three principle circuits: a timer circuit; a multivibrator; and an amplifier circuit. These circuits are connected across a single power supply. The multivibrator provides the function of producing a series of pulses to the amplifier circuit for causing the annunciator to operate on an intermittent basis. The timer circuit provides the function of converting the operation of the annunciator from producing an intermittent audio signal to a continuous audio signal after a predetermined period of time.

摘要： A pneumatic sounder and a control system thereof are disclosed. The pneumatic sounder comprises double magnets and a double-moving coil assembly. The double magnets comprise a first magnet and a second magnet, and the double-moving coil assembly comprises a first moving coil and a second moving coil. The first moving coil is disposed in a magnetic field of the first magnet, and the second moving coil is disposed in a magnetic field of the second magnet. The first moving coil and the second moving coil are connected to an electrical signal control system respectively, and a control system for the pneumatic sounder is also provided. The sounder greatly enhances adjustment efficiency of a cutting seam, reduces energy consumption for driving moving coils, guarantees services lives of the moving coils, and increases reliability of a system.

摘要： A thermometer for determining the temperature of an animal's ear drum. The thermometer includes a probe, an infrared-radiation detector adapted to receive infrared radiation emitted by the ear drum, and devices that help insure that the probe is disposed in a desired position in the ear canal so as to optimize the infrared radiation received from the ear drum, and to minimize the infrared radiation received from other ear parts. A method of using the thermometer is also disclosed.

摘要： A preferred siren including a base having a central axis and a peripheral wall circumscribed about the central axis to define an internal chamber. The peripheral wall includes a plurality of apertures in communication with the internal chamber. A rotor is disposed within the chamber and centrally aligned with the axis. The rotor includes a plurality of spaced apart fins radially disposed about the axis, each of the plurality of fins having an outermost portion at a peripheral edge of the rotor and an innermost portion located between the axis and the peripheral edge. An external housing cooperates with the base to enclose the rotor within the internal chamber, the external housing including a first plurality of ports and a second plurality of ports, the first and second plurality of ports being in fluid communication with the internal chamber of the base. A driver is coupled to the rotor and is powered by a supply of carbon-dioxide gas to rotate the rotor about the axis at a rotational speed such that external air is drawn through the first plurality of ports, into the chamber and out the second plurality of ports so as to generate an alarm sound having an intensity greater than 100 decibels (100 dB).
