摘要： An inspection system is configured to inspect a valuable object including an RF tag configured to record information. The inspection system includes an RF reading device, a weight measuring device, a management control device, and a display device. The RF reading device is configured to read information of valuable objects from RF tags of the valuable objects placed. The weight measuring device is configured to measure weights of the valuable objects. The management control device is configured to determine a calculated total weight of the valuable objects on the platform based on standard weights of the valuable objects obtained from the information read by the RF reading device and compare the calculated total weight with an actual total weight of the valuable objects measured by the weight measuring device. The display device is configured to perform a display reflecting a result of a comparison by the management control device.

摘要： An inspection system inspects gaming chips each having a color or a display indicating a value on an outer surface in a state where the gaming chips are stored in a case in which a maximum of the number of gaming chips to be stored is limited, and a radio tag storing gaming chip information is embedded in each of the gaming chips. The gaming chips are stored in the case capable of containing a row of gaming chips stacked in a thickness direction, and the inspection system includes a reading device that reads the radio tag of the gaming chip in the case and acquires gaming chip information of the gaming chip and a determining unit that compares the gaming chip information with a maximum of the number of gaming chips storable in the case and determines an abnormality of the gaming chip in the case when the number of gaming chips obtained from the gaming chip information is different from a maximum of the number of storable gaming chips.

摘要： Throughout the world, there is growing trend by investors to protect wealth by holding silver and gold coins and bars. Unfortunately, there are also a growing number of counterfeit coins and bars coming into in circulation. This situation cries out for an affordable method that can be used by untrained investors to quickly and reliably discriminate authentic coins and bars from counterfeit ones without causing damage to their coins and bars. The disclosed method fills this need by the use of a combination of conventional and novel designed pieces of equipment for measuring the following three characteristics of a coin; (1) size, (2) weight, and (3) relative terminal velocity on a magnetic slide. The results of these measurements can be used to unambiguously discriminate pure silver and pure gold investment coins and bars from counterfeit ones and can also be helpful in evaluating 22-karat gold coins and pure platinum coins.
