    • Disclosed is an optical appliance for mitigating farsighted vision in humans. The optical appliance includes a body portion and a lens portion. The lens portion is coupled to the body portion, and the lens portion is transparent. The lens portion has appropriate optical power to improve a user's visual acuity of near objects when the user looks through the lens portion. In some embodiment, a perimeter of the body portion is kidney-shaped. In some embodiments, the body portion comprises an orientation feature. In some embodiments the body portion includes a lens opening extending through the body portion. In some embodiments, the lens includes a lens retention rim along an outer perimeter of the lens. The lens is coupled to the body portion in response to the lens retention rim begin placed between at least one top lens retention ridge and at least one bottom lens retention ridge.

    • The present disclosure refers to eyeglasses that may be worn in alternate forms. The eyeglasses include an eyepiece having a pair of lenses that may be positioned in front of a wear's eyes by an attachment assembly, which may be deformed or adjusted to secure the lenses to the wear's wrist. The design of the attachment assembly may vary according to specific needs. In one embodiment, the attachment assembly comprises temples having temple tips. The temples may be deformed to serve alternating purposes—placing the eyepiece in front of the eyes and securing the eye piece around the wear's wrist, or other body parts. The eyepiece may also include a bendable bridge that connects the two lenses. The design of the bridge may facilitate the transition of the eyepiece from one position to the other. The eyeglasses are suitable for individuals that wear eyeglasses periodically and particularly in outdoor settings.

    • An eyeglasses elastic temple has a first lengthwise hole and a second lengthwise hole in a front portion, a connector connected respectively between one of two ends of a frame of the eyeglasses having a rear portion fitting in the first lengthwise hole and female threads in the rear portion. A spring and a connect rod having front male threads extend in the spring put in the first lengthwise hole, and a clamp bar has its front end fitting tightly in the second hole to keep the connect rod and the spring in place, with the male threads engaging the female threads. Then the temple can be collapsed to bend inward when the eyeglasses is not used, with the clamp bar clamping on a pocket of clothes to prevent the eyeglasses from falling off.
