摘要： An automated projectile loader and a method of loading projectile for a vehicle is disclosed. The automated projectile loader includes a carousal projectile unit mounted on a hull of the vehicle. The carousal projectile unit includes a carousal storage adapted to store a plurality of projectiles oriented in a vertical direction. The automated projectile loader includes a bustle projectile unit disposed at a rear end of a turret of the vehicle. The bustle projectile unit includes a bustle storage adapted to store a plurality of projectiles and propellants oriented in a horizontal direction. The automated projectile loader includes an automated arm disposed below the turret and adapted to load the plurality of projectiles from one of the carousal storage and the bustle storage in a barrel orientated in any angle in the turret.

摘要： A firearm system is provided. A pump-action firearm, such as a shotgun, includes a buffer attached to a trigger housing. The buffer consists of a resilient or semi-resilient material and is positioned such as to face towards an opening the receiver in which the magazine tube is partially received. The buffer includes a contoured bottom surface and an upper surface, configured in a way which shortens the space available within an opening of a receiver while accommodating the loading of shells into a magazine tube. Upon moving a shell into the opening, such as by pumping the action, the shell impacts the buffer, which stabilizes the shell prior to being lifted by an elevators. For shorter shells, this reduces the risk of a jamming event. For longer shells, the buffer is configured to compress to accommodate the additional length.

摘要： Muzzleloader systems include a pre-packaged propellant charge and primer for providing efficient loading and unloading of the muzzleloader. The muzzleloader accepts in the breech end the propellant containment vessel that abuts against a constriction portion with a reduced diameter portion. The propellant containment vessel having an end portion with a tapered surface that conforms to the constriction portion surface. A projectile is inserted in the muzzle end and seats against the constriction portion. The propellant containment vessel may be received in a removable breech plug. The constriction portion may be part of the breech plug or a separate component secured in the barrel by way of the breech plug. The containment vessel further comprises a primer mechanism that may be integrated into the proximal end of the containment vessel.

摘要： New forms of suppressive gunfire decoys are provided. In some aspects, a pin-pull device may be used to program and adjust several settings of the decoy devices, activating such devices immediately before deployment. In some aspects, the pin-pull device may serve as a remote control unit. In a preferred method of deployment, the devices are thrown to a location different from that occupied by the user(s), simulating another source of gunfire, distracting and misleading an enemy, and providing the effects of suppressive fire. In some embodiments, a networked computer system(s) may be used as a remote control unit, and the decoy device may include cameras and other sensors for tactical surveillance. In still other aspects, the gunfire decoy device may be capable of locomotion, and may be self-relocating in response to certain commands, or in reaction to stimuli, to confuse the enemy regarding sources of gunfire and troop locations.

摘要： A solenoid selector switch shield for protecting the solenoid switch in a feeder assembly that feeds ammunition to a weapons system. The solenoid selector switch shield is designed to fit over the solenoid and the selector switch and prevent damage to the selector switch during both shipping and operation of the weapons system. In a preferred embodiment the solenoid selector switch shield is characterized by a cylindrical shield barrel having a bevelled access end and a mount end provided with an end mount bracket for mounting the shield to the feeder assembly. A middle bracket is also welded or otherwise attached to the shield barrel and is likewise secured to the feeder assembly. The bevelled access end of the shield barrel is designed to facilitate optimum access to the selector switch knob of the solenoid switch for manipulating the solenoid switch and determining the type of ammunition to be fed to the weapons system by the feeder assembly.

摘要： A weapon assembly for an armored vehicle includes a turret; a turret cage attached to and being disposed underneath the turret; a weapon supported in the turret and having a barrel; and a belt magazine received in part in the turret and in part in the turret cage. The belt magazine has a loading belt and a plurality of horizontally disposed, ammunition-accommodating container tubes attached to the loading belt. The belt magazine further has a frontal receiving position above the turret cage and laterally of the turret. A loading tube is swingably supported behind the weapon for movement between a first position and a second position. In the first position the loading tube is in alignment with the container tube when the latter is in the frontal receiving position. In the second position the loading tube is in alignment with the weapon barrel in a rearward receiving position. There are further provided a first loading device for pushing ammunition from the container tube, when situated in the frontal receiving position, into the loading tube and a second loading device for pushing ammunition, in the rearward receiving position, from the loading tube into a loading chamber of the weapon.
