    • A firearm is formed by a housing, in which an assembly of a carriage and a barrel with a muzzle stop, and a breech are displaceably supported, and wherein the breech is equipped with a return spring that is supported on the rear support surface of the housing, has a counter weight displaceably disposed in a longitudinal space located between the housing and the carriage, on the support surface of which counter weight the rear end of the return spring is supported, and which is seated in the front position thereof on a front stop surface of the carriage. The breach is seated in the rear position thereof on a rear stop surface of the carriage, the return spring is also supported on a front support surface of the housing at the front end in the front position of the breech, and a transfer element protrudes into the path of the breech, the transfer element being simultaneously supported on the carriage and on the counter weight, and in the outer position thereof pushing the counter weight against a front stop surface of the carriage.

    • Because of a clearance between a barrel supporting member and a barrel, a rotational movement of the barrel is not always constant. Thus, trajectory of a bullet is misaligned. A counterweight 40 is located upper than a barrel 10, and rings 61, 62, which are support portions, are located nearer to the counterweight 40 than a gravity center of the barrel 10. Since the barrel 10 is located lower than the counterweight 40 and engaged with a lower surface side of a gear 30, when a bullet is shot and the barrel 10 is moved backward, a force to rotate the barrel 10 itself clockwise is imparted by a circular surface shape of the gear 30. The barrel 10 receives a force to be rotated clockwise from the gravity center position, the ring 61 and the ring 62, and the barrel 10 is in contact with the inner surface of the barrel supporting member 50. Thus, in spite of the existence of the clearance, the barrel 10 is not displaced in the barrel supporting member 50.

    • A semi-automatic rifle includes a frame (2); a barrel (3); a sliding guide (9) mounted in the frame (2) and forming one piece with breech bolts (10) which make it possible to control the recocking and the locking of the rifle (1); an automatic recock device (12) includes a piston (13) mounted in a gas cylinder (14) whose chamber (15) is connected to the bore (7) of the barrel (3) via a vent hole (16), whereby the piston (13) makes contact with the head of a sliding guide (17) which is connected to the sliding guide (9) and which is mounted in a sliding manner on a guiding rod (19) which forms one piece with the frame (2) and which is mainly parallel to the axis of the barrel (3). A floating mass (25) through which the guiding rod (19) passes is mounted in a sliding manner in the axial direction of the guiding rod (19) between two sides (27, 28) of a housing (24) in the head of the sliding guide (17) and a return spring (29) is mounted round the guiding rod (19) and situated between the frame (2) and the floating mass (25). The head of the sliding guide (17) is at least partially made of technical thermoplastic material.

    • A power-variable bow has a bow string and a single piece resilient bow limb having a width and a first and second outer end. A member has a nock end, with the member being removably attached to each of the bow limb first and second outer ends. The power-variable bow may further comprise a section, removably attachable to the bow limb, for increasing the amount of power imparted to an arrow by the bow. In a further embodiment of the bow, in place of the nock end member is a terminal end attached to each of the bow limb first and second outer ends, the terminal end having bow stringing cable grooves and bow string grooves. This embodiment may further be converted into a power-variable compound bow.
