    • An airflow-direction adjustment device includes a plurality of fins disposed approximately in parallel relative to a support portion inside a case, and located on right and left side faces wherein one end side in a plate width direction is pivotally supported turnably; a link mechanism associating two or more fins; and a switch linked to the link mechanism to adjustably switch between a parallel air-blowing mode wherein the fins become approximately parallel to each other, and a scattered air-blowing mode wherein two or more fins are turned in directions opposite to each other. The switch is movably assembled to an intermediate fin, and the link mechanism includes a first link turnably connecting one end side corresponding to other end sides in a plate width direction of first fins disposed on both adjacent sides of the intermediate fin respectively, and turnably connecting a corresponding other end side to the switch respectively.

    • A vehicular airflow outlet comprising a plurality of outlet units having an airflow unit, a ball joint, and a connection member; a control knob unit including a control knob coupled to a ball joint; and a connection mechanism configured to couple the ball joint of the each of the outlet units and the ball joint of the control knob unit is provided. The airflow outlet allows for the direction of airflow throughout a vehicle passenger compartment without the use of multiple sets of vanes. The airflow outlet directs airflow through the use of a single control knob. Force applied to the face of the control knob is operable to simultaneously pivot the ball joints of each of the plurality of outlet units and the ball joint of the control knob unit in unison to adjust airflow direction, allowing for the direction of air at a variety of angles.

    • A cooling system for a room (10) containing electronic data processing equipment (12) comprises a raised floor construction (14) dividing the room into a plenum space (17) underneath the raised floor and a usable space (19) above the raised floor, an air conditioning device (20) for feeding cooled air to the plenum space and a cooling module (30). The cooling module is arranged as floor element of the raised floor and comprises a fan (32) for providing a flow of cooled air from the plenum space to the usable space, the cooling module being configured such that the flow direction of the flow is controllable. The system further comprises a control device (56, 58) connected to the cooling module for automatically controlling the flow direction of the flow. According to an important aspect of the invention, the cooling module comprises at least one adjustable deflector unit (52, 54) arranged downstream of the fan for deviating the flow of cooled air provided by the fan, the deflector unit being connected to the control device for automatic adjustment of the deflector unit. A corresponding cooling module is also proposed.
