摘要： A cable-coupled by-wire control of a vehicle control function traditionally activated by driver manipulation of a pedal is achieved though the agency of a Bowden cable having a first end fastened to the driver pedal, and a second end coupled to a by-wire actuator. The by-wire actuator has a pulley on which the second end of the cable is fastened, an electric motor coupled to the pulley to permit by-wire activation of the vehicle control function by rotation of the pulley in a direction to pull on the pedal with the cable. A relief chamber of the actuator radially outboard of the pulley accommodates slack in the cable within the actuator caused by driver manipulation of the pedal during by-wire activation of the control function.

摘要： An actuation cable device includes a left hood lock cable having an end connected to a left hood lock device; a right hood lock cable having an end connected to a right hood lock device; an opener cable having an end connected to a hood opener; and a link device including a rotatable link member to which second ends of the above-described cables are connected. The left hood lock cable and the right hood lock cable are respectively connected to an upper portion and a lower portion of the link member in a manner so that they extend from the link member toward opposite sides to each other. The opener cable is connected to the upper portion in a manner so that it extends from the link member toward an opposite side to the side toward which the left hood lock cable extends.

摘要： A shift operating device includes a frame body, a cable spool assembly, a first elastic component, an upshift lever, a driving pawl, a positioning pawl, a movable component, and a downshift lever. The cable spool assembly is disposed on the frame body. The first elastic component can force the cable spool assembly to rotate along a first direction. The upshift lever can rotate the cable spool assembly along a second direction by the driving pawl. The positioning pawl is disposed on the frame body and engaged with the cable spool assembly. The movable component is linearly and movably disposed on the frame body and in contact with the positioning pawl. The downshift lever is disposed on the frame body and in contact with the movable component. When the downshift lever is pivoted, the downshift lever forces the movable component to detach the positioning pawl from the cable spool assembly.

The pulley is rotatable in a first pulley direction to a first actuation position to increase tension in the first cable and is rotatable in a second pulley direction opposite the first pulley direction to a second actuation position to increase tension in the second cable. The compression spring is operable to bias the pulley in the second pulley direction when the pulley is in the first actuation position and to bias the pulley in the first pulley direction when in the pulley is the second actuation position.

The bicycle shift operating device has an operating member, a moving member and a positioning mechanism. The positioning mechanism selectively maintains the moving member in a first position that locates the guiding portion to a first guiding position corresponding to the first gear, a second position that locates the guiding portion to a second guiding position corresponding to the second gear, and a third position that locates the guiding portion to a third guiding position corresponding to the second gear. The third guiding position is farther from the first guiding position than the second guiding position. The positioning mechanism moves the moving member from the first position to the second position in response to a single operation of the operating member.

A first source assembly transport thread connects the first source assembly to a first source assembly drive for driving the first source assembly to the second end of the guide tube. At least one further radioactive source assembly is disposed in a further source channel, a connector tube connects the further source channel and a connector disposed in the guide tube. A juncture is formed at the connector. A further source assembly transport thread is attached to the further source assembly and to a further source assembly drive for driving the further source assembly towards said second end of the said guide tube. The first source assembly and the further source assembly are alternatingly drivable toward the second end of the guide tube. A detector detects the presence of either source assembly in the juncture whereby radiation therapy may be accurately effected by either the first source assembly or the further source assembly.

摘要： A control member of a remote control apparatus is provided with a first engagement member. A second engagement member is provided on the end of the core wire of a push-pull cable. The core wire and second engagement member are inserted through an opening in the control apparatus housing to effect engagement of the engagement members. The engagement members thereafter effect a pivoted connection therebetween as the cable is pivoted relative to the control member through an opening in the housing.
