At least one example is a method comprising: warming a first fluid from heat in atmospheric air, the warming creates an increase in volume of the first fluid; moving a working piston by the increase in volume of the first fluid during the warming, the movement to a first position; holding the working piston in the first position to create a first fixed working volume; exchanging heat in first fluid with a second fluid while the working piston is held in the first position, thereby reducing pressure of the first fluid below atmospheric pressure; and then releasing the working piston; moving the working piston by a first differential pressure between atmospheric pressure and pressure of the first fluid; and converting movement of the working piston caused by the first differential pressure into usable work.

摘要： Kinetic Energy Electric Power is an ecofriendly method of producing utility-scale electricity. It does not need high pressure steam to operate, there is no need for expensive steam turbines, nor do any of its operating plants need to be placed within any particular geographical location or weather condition such as sunny, windy, near water, etc. This invention is driven by heated air flowing through a system of solar thermal panels containing mineral oil, or another suitable heat-retaining liquid, that is circulated within a closed circuit piping network through one or more thermal energy storage tanks then through heat exchangers located in one or more large heat chambers that have a chimney stack extending skyward in order to facilitate the draft of air. As the air inside the chambers is heated and expands, it is forced out the top, because of stack effect, through the chimney, thus forcing fresh air to flow in through an opening at the chambers' bottom that brings outside air in via a passageway and travels through one or more paddlewheel-like wind turbines that drive multiple large, weighted flywheels that have multiple electric generators attached to them via gear/clutch mechanisms and producing utility-grade electricity 24/7, 365.

摘要： A flat solar chimney in accordance with the invention reduces a building's cooling load by dissipating the solar energy outside the building. What Applicants have done is construct an outer wall having an inner air space before the building structure. The solar light is absorbed by the outside layer which includes a porous metal layer. The heated high surface area foam metal creates a convective air flow in the channel that extends vertically with openings at the bottom and top. This flow dissipates the absorbed heat and is totally external to the building's interior.In a further embodiment of the invention, a plurality of rectangular slats either horizontally or vertically disposed act as venetian style blinds. The dynamic blinds allow visual function or the solar chimney as per need.

摘要： A novel cost effective low profile structure that converts and stores solar radiation into heat and electricity for controlled utilization. The inventive material incorporates a large insulated vault or chamber of substantial thermal mass connected to a series of inlet passages and to a solar collector assembly. As solar radiation is collected by the solar collector assembly a temperature gradient is created between the collector and the air that is within the vault resulting in air being drawn out of the chamber and through the collector assembly. This air movement is utilized to rotate turbines that are coupled to the inlet passages generating electricity. The hot air is also captured and utilized. The system provides for an efficient, economical process of harnessing and utilizing solar energy by capitalizing on not only on its thermal nature, but its motive nature as well.

摘要： The present application discloses a method and an apparatus for solar power generation through gas volumetric heat absorption based on characteristic absorption spectrum. A radiation energy conversion device absorbs concentrated solar radiation and converts radiation energy into thermal energy; the thermal energy is transferred to the other side of the radiation energy conversion device and then is converted into radiation energy; and the energy is transferred in a receiver cavity. The working gas from the outlet of a recuperator flows into the receiver cavity and absorbs the radiation energy. The heated working gas with high temperature flows into a turbine, doing shaft work through expansion. The expanded working gas flows through the recuperator to exchange heat. The working gas flows into a cooler, a compressor and the recuperator in sequence, and then flows into a receiver cavity to be heated volumetrically, completing a thermal power cycle.
