摘要： A cooling system of a hybrid vehicle includes a radiator, an openable and closable first shutter, an openable and closable second shutter, and a control device. The radiator is placed forward of an internal combustion engine and a heat generation device configured to generate heat along with operation of the drive motor, and the radiator communicates with the heat generation device and the internal combustion engine such that a coolant circulates through the internal combustion engine and the heat generation device. The first shutter extends from a front end of an undercover so as to cross between the radiator, and the heat generation device and the internal combustion engine. The second shutter extends between a front end part of the undercover and a lower part of the radiator. The control device controls opening and closing of the first shutter and the second shutter.

摘要： A vehicle includes first and second heat exchangers, a shutter member, first and second detectors, and a control device. The first and second heat exchangers are disposed in an engine room. The first heat exchanger is used for cooling of an engine. The second heat exchanger is used for recovery of exhaust heat of the engine. The shutter member opens and closes a grille opening in a front portion of the engine room. The first detector detects a feed forward system parameter indicating a sign of a load increase the first exchanger or the second heat exchanger. The second detector detects a feedback system parameter indicating that a load in the first exchanger or the second heat exchangers has increased. The control device controls opening and closing of the shutter member and adjusts an opening degree of the shutter member based on the feed forward and feedback system parameters.

摘要： A flap position sensing device of an active air flap system, and a method of manufacturing the same are described. The flap position sensing device includes a rotating body, a sensor casing, a first hall sensor and a second hall sensor, and a first permanent magnet and a second permanent magnet. The rotating body is formed of a resin material, and rotates the flap by receiving torque while the rotating body is coaxially fixed to a rotation shaft of the flap. The sensor casing is formed of a resin material, and is fixed to the housing to rotatably support the rotating body. The first hall sensor and the second hall sensor are integrally formed with the sensor casing by injection molding, and are disposed corresponding to an open position and a closed position, respectively, of the flap.

A method is disclosed for regulating operation of an active venting device fluidly coupled to a vent in an engine hood of a motor vehicle. The method includes a vehicle controller determining if a calibrated vehicle venting condition exists, and determining if a calibrated vehicle speed condition exists. Responsive to determining that the calibrated vehicle venting condition exists, the controller commands the active venting device to transition to an open state and thereby unobstruct the vent and allow venting fluid flow therethrough. Conversely, in response to determining that the calibrated vehicle speed condition exists, the controller commands the active venting device to transition to a closed state to thereby obstruct the vent and restrict venting fluid flow therethrough.

摘要： In an internal combustion engine, a thermostat valve for changing over between coolant circulation through a radiator-routing passage to coolant circulation through a bypass passage, is provided with a first valve for opening and closing the radiator-routing passage, and a second valve for opening and closing the bypass passage. The first and second valves and are operable concurrently. A cylinder coolant jacket around cylinder bores of a cylinder portion is partitioned into two in a cylinder axis direction to thereby form a main cylinder coolant jacket on a side of a cylinder head portion and a sub-cylinder coolant jacket on a side of a crankcase portion. The bypass passage is formed partly by the sub-cylinder coolant jacket. The above arrangement expedites warming-up during the engine start and achieves favorable appearance by a simplified structure.
