Metallic sodium (5) loaded in an extruder main body (3) is extruded from a nozzle (7) of the extruder main body (3) with a pressing tool (4) and, when it is detected that the metallic sodium (5) is extruded to a predetermined position, the movement of the pressing tool (4) is stopped and the extruded metallic sodium (5) is cut. In this case, an impulse (P) after stop is brought closer to a constant value until a load no longer acts on the metallic sodium (5) in the extruder main body (3) after stopping the movement of the pressing tool (4) by adjusting the movement speed of the pressing tool (4).

摘要： It is configured such that plasma generated at a time of ignition should diffuse over an entire combustion chamber in a spark ignition type internal combustion engine in order to improve fuel efficiency. An ignition device for a spark ignition type internal combustion engine is provided including an ignition plug and a transmission antenna provided in the vicinity of the ignition plug and adapted to transmit an electromagnetic wave to a combustion chamber. The ignition device allows a spark discharge generated between a central electrode and a ground electrode of the ignition plug to react with an electric field created via the transmission antenna in the combustion chamber so as to generate plasma and ignite fuel air mixture. A receiving antenna is arranged on a combustion chamber-facing surface of at least one of an intake valve and an exhaust valve, and is adapted to receive the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the transmission antenna.

摘要： A valve assembly includes a valve having a head and a stem. The head is configured to seal against a valve seat. The stem has a distal end. A first piston radially extends from the stem of the valve and is enclosed within a housing. A second piston is fixed to the distal end of the stem and seals against the housing. A first chamber is defined by the first piston, second piston and the housing and receives a compressed gas and maintains a desired gas pressure. A spring device is disposed intermediate the first piston and the housing. During normal operation of the engine, the gas pressure within the first chamber seals the head of the valve against the valve seat with the spring device in a compressed arrangement and wherein during periods of insufficient gas pressure the spring device biases the valve to seal against the valve seat.

The device comprises an intake valve body and a torsion spring attached to a gear and rod assembly. Manipulation, via manual or automated means, of the gear and rod assembly adjusts the tension/torsion force exerted by the torsion spring to preload the intake valve and/or to hold the intake valve in the closed position. Varying the tension/torsion force results in an ability to control the timing and the degree to which the ports of the intake valve are actually opened during the operating cycle of the piston, thereby providing a user with an opportunity to enhance the operation of a two- or four-stroke internal combustion engine.
