    • A concrete form is disclosed and can include an elongated body having a length and a width. A cross-section of the elongated body perpendicular to the length can include a closed, box-shaped main body having an upper wall, a lower wall opposite the upper wall, a first sidewall extending between and connecting the upper wall and the lower wall, and a second sidewall opposite the first sidewall and extending between and connecting the upper wall and the lower wall. A lower extension can extend from the main body portion in a first direction beyond the lower wall and an upper extension can extend from the main body portion in a second direction opposite the first direction beyond the upper wall.

    • An illustrative composite structure for magnetic coupling includes a non-rigid bendable, flexible and optionally easily bendable member such as urethane that is molded into a desired shape and embeds a pliable strip such as woven fiberglass and a series of spaced apart magnets positioned along the fiberglass strip. Some embodiments are formed to serve as magnetically coupling devices for forming voids in precast concrete, including a chamfer form, a magnetic coupler for frame and other shaped voids, and a magnetic coupler and protective plug for attachment channel inserts. Another embodiment provides coupling of other metallic objects, for example, holding of small loose parts in an abrasive blasting or other industrial processes.

    • The invention relates to a ceiling formwork system comprising several formwork elements, the bottom face of which is provided with supports that can be coupled to heads of vertical props. At least some areas of the cross section of said supports are embodied in a C-shaped manner, with two legs extending from a basic section. One of the legs is designed as a supporting surface that is to rest on a head of a vertical prop while the head of a vertical prop is provided with fixing elements which engage into one respective recess of a supporting surface. Said recess is configured so as to selectively couple the support to the vertical prop in two directions that are offset relative to each other by 90° at the end of the supporting surface which faces away from the basic section.

    • A concrete forming apparatus having an inside form panel and an outside form panel spaced opposite from the inside form panel to create a gap into which plastic concrete will be placed and cured. A sheet of rigid insulation of a reduced height less than the height of the form panels is placed in the gap. A plurality of tie sleeves are pre-inserted through the insulation at regular intervals. A plurality of form ties are releasably connected to at least one of the form panels and extended through the tie sleeve to support the reduced height sheet of insulation at the desired vertical position. The tie sleeve strengthens the insulation in the area of the form tie and prevents damage to the insulation and prevents vertical movement of the insulation during placement and curing of the plastic concrete.
