摘要： The present invention provides a novel method and composition for enhancing the efficiency of starch adsorption (i.e., starch trapping) from starch-containing furnishes comprising high content of recycled fibers for use in paper making processes such as pulp, paper, or board production. A novel polymer coagulation system is disclosed in which two quick inversion cationic emulsion polymers (starch trapping polymers A and B) are co-mixed at optimal blend ratios to meet specific recycled fiber and process water requirements for different recycled fiber plants and added to furnishes prior to formation of paper or board in a paper machine. Co-mixed solutions of starch trapping polymers A and B provide synergistic enhancements in (i) starch trapping efficiency and (ii) starch retention in the produced paper or board over equivalent dosage levels of singly administered polymer A, polymer B, or conventional starch trapping products, without over-flocculation or formation of stickies.

摘要： The present invention is directed to products, such as paper and paperboard products, comprising a substrate containing a recycled cellulose-containing material and top ply comprising one or more inorganic particulate material; to methods of making such paper and paperboard products, and associated uses of such paper and paperboard products. The microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material are applied at a stage when the substrate comprising a wet web of pulp is in the process of being formed on the wire of a papermaking machine, thereby avoiding the additional cost of more extensive equipment and machinery as well as in separate drying of a coating. The microfibrillated cellulose facilitates the application of inorganic particulate onto the surface of a wet paper or paperboard substrate.

摘要： A fibrous body processing apparatus includes a humidifying unit, a first processing unit, a second processing unit, a first supply passage, a second supply passage, and a returning passage. The humidifying unit generates humidified air. The first processing unit processes a material that contains fibers. The second processing unit processes the material that was processed at the first processing unit. Humidified air is supplied from the humidifying unit to the first processing unit through the first supply passage. Humidified air is supplied from the first processing unit to the second processing unit, together with the material, through the second supply passage. The returning passage includes an upstream-side end portion and a downstream-side end portion. Humidified air is returned from the second supply passage or the second processing unit to the humidifying unit through the returning passage.

摘要： A method of manufacturing sanitary paper for handling dog feces is disclosed. The sanitary paper has good water resistance, wet strength, elasticity, and water dispersibility. As a result, the sanitary paper can be used to collect and carry feces and can be disposed of in a toilet. Since the sanitary paper manufactured has water resistance, appropriate wet strength, flexibility, and water dispersibility, the sanitary paper can easily be used to wrap and sanitarily carry dog feces and will not clog of a toilet when the sanitary paper is flushed down a toilet.

摘要： A recycled cellulose pulp composition is provided which comprises recycled cellulosic fibers and cellulose ester staple fibers. A wet-laid fibrous product is also provided which comprises recycled cellulosic fibers and cellulose ester staple fibers. A bailed article is also provided that comprises recycled cellulosic fibers and cellulose ester staple fibers. In embodiments, the recycled cellulosic fibers are present in an amount of 50 wt % or more, based on the total dry weight of fibers, and the cellulose ester staple fibers are present in an amount sufficient to increase the Canadian standard freeness (CSF) of the composition by 5% or more compared to a 100 wt % cellulosic fiber pulp composition processed under similar conditions.
