    • There are provided a glass container that includes mouth portions formed at both end portions thereof facing each other and a manufacturing method of the glass container. Since the glass container is integrally molded by a one-press manufacturing method, the glass container may be more easily manufactured and the mechanical strength of the glass container may be improved in comparison with a case in which portions including mouth portions are separately manufactured and then are integrated with each other. Further, since the glass container is obtained by a one-press manufacturing method, the glass container is thick and has a high-class feeling. A glass container, which is integrally molded by a one-press manufacturing method, includes a first mouth portion and a second mouth portion that are formed at both end portions of the glass container facing each other.

    • The present invention relates to a system for aligning and positioning a male mechanism-pneumatic or servo-electric-to be used at the blank station side of a section of a hollow glass forming machine. The system comprises a mechanism, comprising at least one plunger or a driving unit driven by a servomotor, a guide flange composed of an internal flange for retaining the mechanism in position, and an external flange. The system further comprises a base plate for supporting the mechanism. The plate is mounted on at least one guide bar, rigidly fixed to the resting face of the external flange and intended to allow the base plate to slide along a sliding direction substantially orthogonal to the plane wherein the external flange lies. The base plate rests on a height adjustment group, suspended to said upper plane and intended to move the plate along the guide.

    • A forming plunger mechanism for glass container manufacturing of the type used in an I.S. machine and having at least one vertically-oriented cylinder containing a reciprocally-driven piston for repeatedly driving a plunger upwardly into parisons contained by a blank mould, wherein a saddle plate is provided for supporting one or more vertically-oriented cylinders. The saddle plate is adapted to accommodate on its upper surface a plurality of repositionable port blocks. Each port block has internal conduit channels with generally laterally-facing ports which operatively register with ports at the lower end of the cylinder. The conduit channels have substantially upwardly-facing openings for connection thereto with ends of hoses which serve to conduct a pressurized air stream through the port block and into the cylinder for driving the cylinder's piston in a reciprocal action and for conducting a cooling air flow through the mechanism. The port blocks may be selectively repositioned on the upper surface of the saddle plate to accommodate more than one cylinder size without disturbing the connection of the hose ends to the port blocks. Provision is made for electrical sensing within the cylinders and for completing electrical circuit connection at the cylinder's distal end as a function of installing the cylinder in its operative position. The saddle plate is provided with upper surface grooves for containing insulated conductor leads which extend from the point of connection on the underface of the distal end of the cylinder and outwardly from the lateral surface of the saddle plate.
