摘要： The invention discloses high-strength glass-ceramic-based lightweight aggregates and the preparation method thereof. The mass ratio of raw material components is 50-70 parts of engineering muck, 20-40 parts of glass, 3-7 parts of calcium carbonate, 3-7 parts of magnesium oxide, and 2-10 parts of a nucleating agent; the nucleating agent is at least one of calcium fluoride, titanium dioxide, and chromium oxide. After crushing, mixing, and granulating, spherical particles with a particle size of 10-12 mm are formed; and then the product can be obtained after drying, sintering, and cooling. The obtained lightweight aggregate from the invention has a diopside matrix which provides high strength and a low water absorption rate at low densities. Moreover, waste glass and engineering muck could be utilized with high value.

摘要： A high silica glass composition comprising about 92 to about 99.9999 wt. % SiO2 and from about 0.0001 to about 8 wt. % of at least one dopant selected from Al2O3, CeO2, TiO2, La2O3, Y2O3, Nd2O3, other rare earth oxides, and mixtures of two or more thereof. The glass composition has a working point temperature ranging from 600 to 2,000° C. These compositions exhibit stability similar to pure fused quartz, but have a moderate working temperature to enable cost effective fabrication of pharmaceutical packages. The glass is particularly useful as a packaging material for pharmaceutical applications, such as, for example pre-filled syringes, ampoules and vials.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for feeding preheaters having heating elements for the feedstock of glass melting installations. In order to distribute the feedstock in an extremely thin, but uniform layer thickness on and between the upper heating elements, thereby effectively suppressing or avoiding agglutination of particles and accumulation of the feedstock, a distributor device is arranged above the topmost heating elements including at least three pivotable distributor plates, the pivoting axes of which run in the horizontal edges of a virtual prism. The topmost distributor plate throws the feedstock alternately onto one of the distributor plates arranged underneath, which throws the caught feedstock to one of its sides sternwards. The movements of the distributor plates are controlled by sensors with an evaluation and control circuit and actuators assigned to the distributor plates with the aim of a uniform area distribution of the feedstock over the cross section of the preheater.
