摘要： The present invention provides a dispenser of stretch wrap, comprising a main body with a first end, a second end, a first connector portion proximate to the first end, a second connector portion proximate to the second end, a first braking mechanism at the first connector portion, a second braking mechanism at the second connector portion, a tension controller terminating an end of the second connector portion, the first connector portion and second connector portion are adapted to engage two ends of an elongated core with stretch wrap film, the tension controller comprising an adjustable portion that is rotatable and in mechanical communication with a movable part located intermediate the tension controller and the second connector portion and the adjustable portion is a rotatable knob, and the movable part is a clutching mechanism connected to a shaft; characterized in that the tension controller further comprises a tension limiting mechanism.

摘要： A roll tensioner for use in maintaining a wrapping material cut edge of a wrapping material retained on a wrapping material roll located within a wrapping material box having an interior cavity with an interior front wall with a top cutting edge. The roll tensioner comprises a thin, flexible main body having distal and proximal end sections separated by a spring back reversion section, and formed having a first side and a second side. Attachment means, preferably an adhesive, is located on at least a portion of the proximal end section on the first side adapted to attach the proximal end section to the interior front wall of the wrapping material box. The spring back reversion section is composed of a material that has an immediate elastic response to a static load and is capable of substantially full recovery when the static load is removed. The distal end mechanically bends downward by way of the spring back reversion section in the interior cavity of the wrapping material box. The distal end section is adapted to rest against the wrapping material proximal to the wrapping material cut edge to retain the wrapping material cut edge in an upward, substantially parallel position to the interior front wall of the wrapping material box for easy grasping of the wrapping material cut edge by an end user.

A ring shaped member having a high friction material along one surface is disposed between the handle segments, and each handle segment includes an outside dimension that is positionable within the central channel of the roll of stretch film.

At least one end of the wall of the core and/or the edge of the film wrap is profiled and interlockable with a complimentary interlocking member located at the remote end of the first or second connector portion so as to prevent lateral movement of the film wrap with respect to the first and second connector portions of the dispenser. This beneficially reduces slippage of the film wrap when it is being used to wrap a load.

A roll of interleaf material is rotatably positioned within the box such that a free end of the interleaf material can extend through the dispensing opening, and a roll of expandable sheet material in an unexpanded form is rotatably positioned within the box adjacent the first roll of sheet material such that a free end of the expandable sheet material can extend through the dispensing opening. A tensioning assembly is operably associated with the roll of expandable sheet material to control rotational resistance thereof. The interleaf material and the expandable sheet material can be concurrently pulled out of the box in abutting contact by a user and the rotational resistance of the roll of expandable sheet material causes the expandable sheet material to expand in thickness and length.

In one example, the brake mechanism includes a first portion configured to engage the roll during normal unloading of material from the roll and a second portion configured to engage the roll to impede rotation of the roll when unloading of material is uneven. An idler roller engages the material being dispensed, which idler roller may be resiliently supported to absorb forces on the material.
