摘要： An outsert for affixing to a product package includes a base layer, a top layer, and a printed document. The base layer includes a perforated region arranged to be aligned with a tear tape on an outer wrapping of the package. The top layer is arranged on the base layer and has one or more edge regions adhered to the base layer. The printed document is enclosed in an inner volume established between the base layer and top layer. A laminate layer can be disposed in the inner volume between the top layer and the printed document to increase the rigidity of the outsert.

摘要： A container of consumer goods includes a rigid outer box and a rigid inner box wherein a pull tab is configured to reseal a pre-cut opening in the inner box. The pull tab includes a cover layer larger than the pre-cut opening. The cover layer can be a piece of bundle wrap with a paper layer of the bundle wrap contacting the consumer goods inside the box. The outer box has a hinged lid permanently attached to a connecting tab of the pull tab whereby opening the hinged lid simultaneously opens the pre-cut opening in the inner box by lifting the pull tab. The connecting tab includes adhesive which is partially deadened to decrease adhesion of the connecting tab to the inner box. The pull tab can also include one or more machine readable markings to enhance automated application of the pull tab to an inner box blank during manufacturing of the container.

摘要： A bag construction for use to distribute flowable material is provided. The bag construction generally includes first and second panels or panel sections oriented juxtaposed to one another. In one end of the bag construction, a base gusset is provided between the panels. The base gusset includes apertures therein, for distribution of flowable materials. In preferred embodiments, a rib-and-trough closure arrangement is provided so that the pouch construction can be selectively closed to inhibit distribution of material, when desired. Methods of preparing such arrangements and methods of use are provided.

摘要： The present invention provides kits of orthopedic casting materials comprising a sheet of curable casting material, a lubricant, and an air and water impermeable package comprising a laminate sheet material and a means for facilitating tearing of the sheet material when the outer surface of the pouch has been contacted with the lubricant. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention the means for facilitating the tearing of the sheet comprises a matte-finish paper label material adhered to the outer surface of the package and crossing a cut. In another preferred embodiment of the present invention the means for facilitating the tearing of the sheet comprises a plurality of perforations through the sealed portion of the package adjacent a cut.

摘要： A wrapped package carries a transparent overwrap material and a tear tape attached to the overwrap material for effecting tearing of the overwrap material. The tear tape has a layer of adhesive on one side of the tape substrate for adhesion to the overwrap material and a layer of ink arranged to provide visible markings for the tear tape. The ink is applied on the side of the adhesive which is remote from the tape so that when the tear tape is attached to the overwrap material by the adhesive, the second surface of the adhesive and the layer of ink thereon are in contact with the overwrap material and the markings are visible through the transparent overwrap material without viewing through the adhesive and without viewing through the tape.

摘要： A partly-overlapped portion of a sheath film is meltbonded by heat to provide a seal which a user can tear open with ease. A heat sealing area of the sheath film is halftone printed to reduce the bonding area, thereby decreasing the bonding strength. A tearing portion is provided along the heat seal which is printed so that it has a bonding strength which gradually increases along the tear part until it reaches the bonding strength of the remainder of the heat seal. A curl section having minimal bonding strength relative to the tearing portion of the heat seal is induced to curl up using heat treatment to allow the user to grasp the sheath film at the tear part.
