    • A side view mirror having a rotatable housing comprises a cover plate mounted on an exterior of a vehicle body, wherein an inside and outside of the cover plate are divided based on the vehicle body. A stay includes a lever disposed at an inner side of the cover plate. An up/down/left/right angle adjusting part is integrated with a connection bar, connected to the lever through the connection bar, and configured to be movable in up/down and left/right directions with respect to an outer surface of the cover plate. A folding supporting part is integrated with the up/down/left/right angle adjusting part at the outer surface of the up/down/left/right angle adjusting part and connected to the mirror-integrated housing. A mirror-integrated housing is foldably or unfoldably coupled with the folding supporting part, and an angle of the mirror-integrated housing is adjusted in up/down and left/right directions by the up/down/left/right angle adjusting part.

    • A device for mounting a rearview mirror casing on a support member integral with the bodywork of a vehicle, wherein the casing has a convex face against concave face of the support member by an elastic member disposed inside the casing.One of the ends of the elastic member is secured inside the casing. The other end is pivoting mounted on a fastening member integral with the support member and extending inside the casing so that the action of the spring is always exerted along the longitudinal axis of the casing. The convex face of the casing is provided with an opening to allow the fastening member therethrough. The opening has at least two opposing bosses which are adapted to be selectively engaged in at least two opposing slots extending from the opening when the casing is in a retracted position. The housing has at least one rib which is engaged in a corresponding slot provided in the support member.

    • A remote controlled rearview mirror assembly comprises a mirror bracket controllable by a pivotal control lever through a mechanism including a pair of first arms mounted on the control lever and a pair of second arms supporting the mirror bracket and pivotally mounted on a supporting stud spaced from the control lever and fixed to a base plate on which the control lever is pivotable. The first and second arms are connected pivotally by a pair of links at their distal ends. Each of the first and second arms has a spherical surface at its end, over which there is slidably fitted a semispherical socket on one end of one of the links.

    • An improved vehicle rear-view mirror assembly of the type in which the mirror support arm is carried by means of at least one movable joint from the mounting part of the mirror assembly which is adapted to be secured to the bodywork of the vehicle includes a shroud of a resilient and flexible material mounted on the back of the mirror, and an extension having at least one movable joint with the end region of the extension in sealing relation with the mounting part, the extension enshrouded by a bellows-like tubular gaiter of flexible material. The shroud and the extension reduce the risk of injury to a person who may be accidentally hit by, or hit, the mirror assembly and the bellows-like gaiter also protects the movable joint or joints from dirt and moisture while readily flexing to allow the joint or joints to move or to be adjusted.
