A post and at least one pin may protrude for the inner surface of the cap. The post and the at least one pin may snuggly fit within a channel through the razor. The post may fit through an aperture in the base, and the pin may fit within a pin hole in the base. The pin may align the razor in between the cap and the base, and prevent the razor from spinning out of alignment. The post may then attach to a handle to complete the double edge razor assembly.

摘要： An improved razor apparatus is provided to enable use in two positions for shaving. The improved razor apparatus includes two components, an easily adjustable razor body and a handle. The razor body is comprised of dual razor heads which may be easily adjusted from a wedge-shaped position to a straight edge position, by applying pressure, such as made by a finger, to a hinged razor cap crown connecting the dual razor-heads. The razor body maintains its wedge-shaped position by means of a locking clasp placed between the sides of the hinged razor cap crown. The handle is demountably attached to the dual razor heads by flexible arms, allowing adjustment between the wedge-shaped position and straight edge position without detachment of the pair of arms.

摘要： A safety razor wherein a forward or leading end of the usual type handle is provided with a reduced offset shank disposed at an angle oblique to the longitudinal axis of the handle. This shank functions to accommodate an attachable and detachable head made up of a guard plate and a complemental clamping plate. Central portions of these plates are provided with aligned openings or holes. The hole in the clamping plate is threaded to accommodate the screw-threaded shank. The threads on the shank also serve to accommodate a knurled collar-type nut which is manually adjustable to maintain the over-all head in an advantageous keen cutting but safe position. Experience has shown that a razor of the type shown promotes expedient handling in that it reliably cleaves the hair, does not pull, simplifies shaving and minimizes painful knicks and cuts.

The bottom lip has a uniform radius of curvature. The top lip has a varying radius of curvature, and the top lip is tapered in its width from one end of the razor head to the other. The top lip is arcuate in cross section having different radius of curvature therealong, said radius being at a maximum value at the end of the razor top lip where the lip is narrowest, and having maximum radius of curvature at the opposite end of the razor head where the top lip is widest.
