摘要： A portable trommel has a chassis, including support wheels at one end thereof for movement of the trommel. A trommel is rotatably mounted on the chassis and has an input and an output end. A hopper and an input conveyor, for supplying material to be screened to the input end of the trommel, are mounted on the chassis adjacent the input end of the trommel. An output or fines conveyor, for collecting material passing through the trommel screen, is mounted on the chassis, below the trommel. A stockpiling conveyor is mounted on the chassis and has a lower end adapted to receive screened material from the fines conveyor and an upper end for discharging screened material to form a stockpile. The stockpiling conveyor can be in two parts, which can be folded into a retracted position for storage and transportation, and further can be mounted for rotation about a vertical axis to enable an arcuate storage pile to be formed.

摘要： A shuffle feed sizing structure wherein articles are progressed from valley to valley over a shuffle feed mechanism and as they progress the article advancing face of the shuffle feed member provides a sizing opening of a given width so that the articles small enough to fall through the opening are discharged downwardly beneath the shuffle feed at this point. Various widths of sizing opening are provided between the faces of the shuffle feed as required and the largest articles are discharged over the end. Means are also provided for ejecting articles from a sizing opening if they tend to become wedge or if they remain in front of the sizing opening but are too large to pass through the opening.

摘要： A sediment classification system enables the screening of material that enters a backhoe bucket. Material that enters the bucket exits through a duct with an opening at the back of the bucket. The material is screened by passing between a first set of bars and a second set of bars. The bars have spacers between them attached to one of the sets of bars. The second set of bars is pined to the first set and is able to move to clear material wedged between the bars.

摘要： The disclosure features material separators for screening excavated material (e.g., rocks from soil.) In some implementations the materials separators include (a) a supporting frame; (b) a screening surface mounted at an incline on the supporting frame, the screening surface comprising a plurality of fixed bars that are attached to the frame in a manner to resist upward movement, and a plurality of shift bars that are attached to the frame at their upper and lower ends, in a manner to allow upward movement; and (c) a shift bar actuator, positioned between the upper and lower ends of the shift bars, the shift bar actuator being configured to impart a two-stage movement to the shift bars, whereby during a first stage the upper ends are first displaced vertically, and during a second stage the lower ends pivot upward about the upper ends.
