    • A circulating toy assembly has a toy piece that circulates through an elevator and an inclining track member. A swing lever is mounted between a platform provided at the top of the elevator and an entrance end of the track member for conveying the toy piece from the platform to the entrance end. The swing lever swings in a plane which is inclined downward from the platform to the entrance end. The swing lever has a toy piece receiving bucket at one end and a counterweight at another end. When the bucket receives the toy piece from the platform the bucket turns downward and toward the entrance end by gravity to deliver the toy piece to the entrance end. When the bucket is empty, the counterweight causes the swing lever to turn so that the bucket turns to the platform. The toy piece preferably has an elongated hollow body which receives a ball to roll freely therein, thereby causing the toy piece to somersault along the track member. A gate is provided adjacent to the platform to control the forward movement of the toy piece from the platform.

    • A swinging toy comprises a U-shaped frame having two spaced parallel support rods and a connecting fulcrum rod. A figure comprises a body member simulating a head and shoulders with two arm members rotationally connected to the body member at the simulated shoulders. An outer string line is connected between the parallel support rods near one end of the frame and passes through inner openings of the arm members. An inner string line is connected between the parallel support rods parallel to and adjacent the outer string line and passes through outer openings of the arm members. When the frame is placed in a vertical position with the figure at the top, gravity will cause the body member to move around the inner and outer string lines to take an upside-up position below the inner string line, which causes the inner and outer string lines to cross each other. When the ends of the parallel support rods at the bottom of the frame are moved toward each other, the parallel string lines are pulled back to a parallel position so that the body member counter rotates around the inner and outer string lines back to an upside-up position beneath the inner string line, which causes the inner and outer string lines to cross each other, but in an opposite direction. Repeated movement toward each other of the bottom ends of the parallel support rods causes the body member to repeatedly rotate and counter rotate around the inner and outer string lines. Also disclosed are an electrically-operated embodiment, a weighted free standing embodiment and a multi-jointed figure.

    • A cartwheel tumbling doll has a torso and a head mounted on the torso. An axis extends generally through the center of the head and torso. A pair of arms, each arm having a shoulder end and a hand end, are mounted for limited pivotal movement adjacent each arm's shoulder about a respective axis that is generally perpendicular to the center axis. A pair of legs, each leg having a hip end and a foot end, are mounted adjacent each leg's hip for limited pivotal movement relative to the torso about a respective axis that is generally perpendicular to the center axis. A weight is releasably connected to each hand. The foot of each leg contacts a substantially planar surface to support the doll in a generally upright position with the arms extended away from the feet and carrying the releasably connected weights. Pushing one side of the doll causes it to tumble sideways or cartwheel. When each weight contacts the surface, a release mechanism releases each weight from its respective hand permitting the doll to continue to cartwheel until the feet again contact the surface and the doll is in the generally upright position.

    • A summersaulting toy has a housing with a motor located in the housing. A first and second shaft are located parallel to one another transverse to the longitudinal axis of the toy with the ends of the first and second shafts projecting beyond the right and left sides of the housing.
