摘要： A hemostatic device includes a flexible band allowed to be wrapped around a wrist in which a radial artery and an ulnar artery run, a hook and loop fastener that secures the band in a state of being wrapped around the wrist, an inflatable portion connected to the band and allowed to press a puncture site of the radial artery by being inflated in response to injection of a fluid, and a pressing member disposed at a different position from a position of the inflatable portion in a longitudinal direction of the band and allowed to press the ulnar artery. Further, a length of the pressing member along the longitudinal direction of the band is shorter than a width of the pressing member along a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the band.

A visual pulse indicator can visually convey whether or not there is proper blood flow at the puncture site based on the pulsing motion encountered by the visual pulse indicator on the puncture site. The visual pulse indicator can potentially factor in a variety of different input parameters in displaying information that is useful to providers.

摘要： There is provided a method for controlling a flow of sperms in a uterine tube of a female patient. The method comprises electrically stimulating a uterine tube wall portion by controlling an implanted stimulation device from at least one of an external control unit and an internal control unit, wherein the electrically stimulating causes contraction of the uterine tube wall portion along a length of the portion to restrict the flow of sperms in the uterine tube.

摘要： A convenient self-locking blood pressure cuff facilitating one-handed use by a user taking his own blood pressure includes a cuff belt, a casing assembly, and a self-locking structure. The self-locking structure is received in the casing assembly. The self-locking structure includes a core shaft, a locking assembly, and a pressing assembly. The core shaft is slidably connected to the casing assembly. The locking assembly and the pressing assembly are wrapped around the core shaft. The locking assembly can rotate when a free end of the cuff belt moves with respect to the casing assembly. The locking assembly can further press against the cuff belt when the core shaft slides in the casing assembly. The pressing assembly presses against the locking assembly to prevent the locking assembly from rotating back.

摘要： A hemostatic device is provided to stop bleeding at a puncture site on the wrist of a patient, the device comprising a transparent flexible band to be wrapped at the site where the bleeding is to be stopped, a curved frame having an inner peripheral side and possessing a first curved portion in its first half and a second curved portion in its second half, a first balloon provided on the inner peripheral side in the first half of the curved frame and a second balloon provided on the inner peripheral side in the second half of the curved frame. The bleeding from a first artery is stopped by compressing the first artery at the puncture site using inflation of the first balloon and the blood flow in the first artery is increased by compression of a second artery using inflation of the second balloon.

摘要： A radial artery sheath assembly includes a cuff that is wearable around a patient's wrist and a receiver is integrated into the cuff. The cuff is inflatable to compress an incision in the patient's wrist to achieve homeostasis for stopping bleeding. A ring is removably attachable to the cuff and a radial sheath is extendable through the ring to retain the radial sheath in the incision in the user's wrist when the ring is attached to the cuff. The ring is inflatable for compressing the radial sheath in the ring to inhibit the radial sheath from being removed from the incision. A lock is coupled to the ring and the lock releasably engages the receiver in the cuff for attaching the ring to the cuff.
