摘要： An automatic pressure drop prevention device is disclosed. The automatic pressure drop prevention device comprises: at least one strip wherein the at least one strip is selected from; a wire, a band, and a combination thereof; and an actuator. An exemplary tourniquet has an inverted cone shape, wherein a narrower end has a mushroom shaped base that is pressed against a compression target and a broader end has a plurality of pass-through slots for straps. Another exemplary tourniquet has a broad plate component and a handle component. The handle component has a mushroom shaped base on a first end and a handle on a second end. The handle component passes through the center of the plate component with threads that allow the handle component to compress a target by twisting the handle.

摘要： A trauma dressing article includes a body on which a cap of absorbent material is disposed. A wrap strip is attached to the body at one end of the wrap strip. The trauma dressing article is particularly suited for treating wounds at junctional locations of the body (e.g. armpits, groin) to prevent exsanguination. The body of the article is oriented such that the absorbent material is positioned towards the wound site, and then the body is moved to press the absorbent material into the wound site. The wrap strip is then wrapped around portions of the injured person's body and over the article to create an inward pressure against the wound site.

The methods and devices may be used to close vascular punctures following trans-radial arterial procedures, e.g., catheterization and percutaneous coronary intervention. 摘要： Disclosed is a tourniquet, comprising a fixing module, a hemostasis module, and an indication module. A floating nut is arranged around a pressure stud, with the upper end of the floating nut being fixedly connected to a rotary knob, and the lower end of the floating nut being provided with a support part; the spinning press block is arranged around the floating nut, with an inner side of the spinning press block abutting against the floating nut, an outer side of the spinning press block being in thread-fit connection with an inner side of a protrusion, and the lower end of the spinning press block being supported by the support part; the spinning press block is provided with a holding hole penetrating through from top to bottom; the spring is sheathed outside the floating nut, with the upper end of the spring abutting against the top face of the protrusion, and the lower end thereof abutting against the upper end of the spinning press block; the connecting piece is disposed in the holding hole; the connecting piece does not rise along with the spinning press block, but rotates along with the spinning press block, and the lower end of the connecting piece is fixedly connected to the pointer; and the pointer rotates along with the connecting piece to point to different pressure values on the dial plate; a time device can also be provided to measure the hemostasis time; the tourniquet can be locked. 摘要： The present invention relates generally to first aid articles and more specifically tourniquets suitable for one handed application. One embodiment of the invention is directed to a tourniquet having a base defining first and second ends. A constricting band is attached to and extends from the first end of the base. A windlass handle is engaged with the constricting band. The constricting band is threaded through a self cinching stepped buckle. A buckle connector includes a hook member that engages the stepped buckle and is partly held in place through urging against a loop of the constriction band.

摘要： A method and device for reducing the damaging effects of a blast or concussive event includes applying pressure to at least one jugular vein to reduce the egress of blood from the cranial cavity during the incidence of the concussive event. Reducing blood out flow from the cranial cavity increases intracranial pressure of the cerebrospinal fluid to reduce the risk of traumatic brain injury and injuries to the spinal column. Reducing blood out flow further increases the intracranial pressure, and thereby increases the pressure of the cochlear fluid, the vitreous humor and the cerebrospinal fluid to thereby reduce the risk of injury to the inner ear, internal structure of the eye and of the spinal column. In addition, increasing intracranial pressure reduces the likelihood of brain injury and any associated loss of olfactory function.
