摘要： A flip top table includes a leg assembly supporting an axle defining a rotation axis extending in a longitudinal direction. A strike plate is non-rotatably secured to the axle, with the strike plate having first and second circumferentially spaced and radially extending stop surfaces. A worksurface is rotatably supported on the axle and includes first and second circumferentially spaced stop surfaces. The worksurface is rotatable about the rotation axis between a use position and a stowed position. A latch assembly is coupled to and rotatable with the worksurface between the use and stowed positions. The latch assembly includes a lock bolt moveable in the longitudinal direction between a disengaged position, wherein the lock bolt is longitudinally displaced from the strike plate, and an engaged position, wherein the lock bolt engages the second stop surface of the strike plate when the worksurface is in the use position. An actuation mechanism is also provided.

摘要： A desk including a book holder positioned at a predetermined angle relative to the surface of the desk. In one embodiment the book holder is deployable, and the desk surface includes a recess into which the deployable book holder fits when the deployable book holder is in the closed position. The recess optionally includes a rubber surface to avoid slipping of the bottom edge of a book (such as a text book) when the book is being held up with the deployable book holder. In another embodiment a deployable book holder includes an aperture, and a recess includes an island. In various embodiments, a proximal end of a desk surface, closest to where a user sits, may be wider than the distal end to provide adequate arm room for the user.

摘要： A repositionable paper stop for the edge of the top surface of a table includes a long body having one flat planar side and another side having an upstanding edge portion which can be alternately repositioned in a groove in the top surface of the table between an inactive position with the flat planar side flush with the table surface and inactive position with the upstanding edge portion extending above the table surface to act as a conventional stop. The stop member can be manually displaced from either position by a slidable lift pin manually movable into the groove from below the table and into contact with the underside of the stop member in the groove.
