摘要： A fishing system includes a submersible fishing implement for being received in a body of water and configured for capturing one or more fish. An implement driver is configured to drive movement of the submersible fishing implement through the body of water. A data collection system includes one or more sensors for sensing one or more fishing parameters and transmitting a fishing parameter signal representative of the one or more fishing parameters. A controller is operatively connected to the data collection system to receive the fishing parameter signal and to determine based on the fishing parameter signal a selected fishing location. The controller is further configured to transmit a navigation signal to the implement driver operative to control the implement driver to drive movement of the submersible fishing implement toward the selected fishing location.

摘要： A method is described to compute and display the line length required to troll a fishing rig at a desired depth. Line lengths and respective line angles measured at the surface are used to calculate an approximation to the actual underwater curve profile of the trolled fishing line, which is used to determine the line length required to troll at a desired depth or to determine the resulting depth for a specified line length. An embodiment is described which requires only a smartphone and software beyond standard trolling fishing equipment. This embodiment uses the embedded sensors of the smartphone to collect fishing line angle measurements. Also described is a method and devices to automatically collect the line angles and line lengths using a wireless fishing line inclinometer device and a wireless line counter, which is especially useful and convenient when software is implemented on a mounted marine electronics unit.

摘要： A pole-and-line fishing device includes a rotary drum, a drive motor, an electromagnetic clutch, an encoder for detecting direction and speed of rotation of the rotary drum, and a control unit for controlling the electromagnetic clutch. The drive motor can rotate the rotary drum in a forward winding direction until a load reaches a transmission torque, and when load exceeds the transmission torque, the drum can rotate in a reverse unwinding direction. In a reverse torque operation region, a winding torque is set to a preset Winding Force 2 Reference Rotation Speed relative to a Winding Force 1, and is changed based on a change of rotation speed of the drum. The ratio of winding torque increase/decrease is determined by a torque rising curve. The winding torque switches to Winding Force 3 to perform a constant torque operation when speed of the drum reaches Winding Force 3 Reference Rotation Speed.

摘要： A bait rigging system is used to mount a bait fish onto a fishing line. The system includes a tubular body and a line-securing clamp. The tubular body can be inserted into the mouth of a bait fish in order to guide the fishing line through the bait fish. The line-securing clamp is mounted into the tubular body and is used to lock the tubular body onto the fishing line. The system also includes a weight adjustment arm and a weight. The weight is connected to the weight adjustment arm and causes the bait fish sink. The weight adjustment arm is connected to the tubular body and may be rotated to compensate for different sized bait fish. An arm spike is connected to the weight adjustment arm and is used to secure the weight adjustment arm to the bait fish by piercing the mouth of the bait fish.

摘要： A trotline organizing and storage device includes a tube having a first end, which is closed, and a second end, which is open. A slot, positioned in a wall of the tube, extends from the second end to proximate to the first end. A rod is coupled to the first end and extends axially through the tube to proximate to the second end. The rod configured to position a fishhook of a trotline around the rod. Adjacent fishhooks of the trotline then are sequentially positionable upon the rod until all of the fishhooks are stowed within the tube. The shanks of the fishhooks are positioned through the slot such that line attached to eyes of the fishhooks is positioned outside of the tube. A cover is configured to reversibly couple to the second end to retain the fishhooks within the tube.
