    • A compact and reliable structure of a multi-rotor synchronous machine which may be employed as a generator/motor for automotive vehicles is provided. The machine includes an outer rotor having permanent magnets, an inner rotor having permanent magnets disposed to be rotatable relative to the outer rotor, a stator core having armature coils interlinking with field magnetic fluxes produced by the outer and inner rotors, and a rotor-to-rotor relative rotation controlling mechanism. A relative angle between the outer and inner rotors is controlled within a given angular range by controlling the phase and quantity of current flowing through the armature coils to rotate the inner rotor relative to the outer rotor through the rotor-to-rotor relative rotation controlling mechanism, thereby changing the magnetic fluxes interlinking with the armature coils as needed.

    • A high-power electrodynamic machine operates at a relatively high rotational speed and has dual rotors. In a preferred generator embodiment, one relatively massive first rotor having a magnetic device integral therewith is dedicated to the main generator. The exciter generator, which is relatively less massive, is isolated on a second rotor, which has a magnetic device integral to it. Only three bearings are required. The distance between the two bearings for the first rotor is relatively short, and the first rotor is relatively stiff, both of which facilitate operation of the first rotor below the critical speed. The junction of the first and second rotors further includes support of a junction end of the second rotor. The second rotor is driven by a prime mover via the first rotor. Means for providing electrical connections between the magnetic devices of the first and second rotors is also provided.

    • The PEC is utility device designed to convert intermittent pressure into electrical charges. It may be implemented in a variety of forms. The easiest to describe is the mechanical floor plate. It consists of depress-able track mounted plates with small barrel electrical generators attaches to the bottom and geared to turn downward step pressure into rotational energy for the generators. This implementation is inexpensive to manufacture, as it uses off the shelf components, and would be ideal in third world applications where components are difficult to obtain.
