摘要： An electric tool includes a power supply, a controlling apparatus and a two-way motor. The motor includes first and second leads. The controlling apparatus includes a first conductive element connected with the anode of the power supply, a second conductive element connected with the cathode of the power supply, a switching device comprising a carrier for carrying and switching the conductive elements between a neutral position, a first operative position and a second operative position. In the neutral position, the conductive elements do not contact the leads of the motor. In the first operative position, the first end of the first conductive element contacts the first lead of the motor and the second end of the second conductive element contacts the second lead of the motor. In the second operative position, the second end of the first conductive element contacts the second lead of the motor and the first end of the second conductive element contacts the first lead of the motor.

摘要： A protective switch having an actuation side. The protective switch includes a base having walls, a pivot shaft connected to the walls of the base, and a switching rocker pivotal on the pivot shaft to be pivotally seated on the base. The switching rocker includes two lever arms for switching the protective switch on and off. A housing is placed on the base and protectively surrounds the switching rocker. A housing cover is located on the actuation side of the protective switch and protectively covers the switching rocker. The housing cover includes an opening therethrough. A plurality of hinges are each disposed on a respective lever arm of the switching rocker. An actuation attachment extends through the opening of the housing cover and is modularly connected to the switching rocker by the hinges for pivoting the switching rocker. The actuation attachment is selected from a kit composed of at least one switch button longitudinally displaceable in the housing cover and pivotally connected with one of the lever arms, and a switch cap rotatably movable relative to the pivot shaft and rigidly connected with the two lever arms of the switching rocker. The at least one switch member and the switch cap are interchangeable.

摘要： Two standard momentary pushbuttons mounted in spaced-part relation on a common support normally directly actuate two switch units, respectively. A maintaining and interlocking attachment is interposed between the pushbuttons and switch units so that when one pushbutton is depressed, it will be maintained depressed and will restore and lock out the other pushbutton so that it cannot be depressed simultaneously. This is done by mounting a plurality of spacer rods between the pushbuttons and their associated switch units to provide space for a bracket secured therein and mounting a dual-spring-biased center-pivoted bistable toggle mechanism having a pair of driven pins, one for each pushbutton. A pair of push-levers are clamped to the standard washer-like drive plates of the respective pushbuttons and are provided with push-flanges and elongated drive slots. The push-flanges actuate the plungers of the respective switch units whereas the elongated slots engage the respective driven pins to move the toggle mechanism from one stable state over its line of action to cause it to snap to its other stable state and be maintained thereat.
