摘要： A device may limit opening of a sash hingedly coupled to a master frame, and includes: a bracket attached to the sash; a first arm having a first end pivotally coupled to the bracket; a second arm having a first end pivotally coupled to the first arm's second end; means for biasing the second arm into a retracted position; and a release assembly. The release assembly is secured to the master frame and includes a hook pivotable between a first position and a second position, which, in the first position, may be releasably received in an opening in the second end of the second arm when the second arm is in the retracted position, as the sash is closed and received within the master window frame The second arm is disengaged from the hook, permitting full opening of the sash, when the hook is pivoted into the second position.

摘要： A locking device for sliding doors or windows comprises a pair of bars pivotally interconnected at an intermediate point on one of the bars to form a toggle mechanism. Pivotal movement is limited in one direction beyond the extended configuration of the bars, and friction pads are provided at their outer free ends for engaging opposing relatively movable surfaces of a sliding door or window unit. The device can be forceably locked in the extended configuration between the opposing surfaces by exerting pressure on the toggle mechanism.

摘要： The disclosure relates to a secure locking mechanism for a sliding door or window. It comprises a toggling pair of bars, one of which is attached to the door frame and the other to the casing so that the bar lies across the fixed pane. The first bar is an inverted channel which encloses a portion of a second preferably solid bar. A pair of longitudinally side by side holes is drilled through both bars in the overlapping portion. The bars are joined in this area by one or more pins inserted through the holes. One hole is located adjacent to the distal end of the solid bar so that it can act as a pivot when the bars are united by a pin passing through this hole. The bars can then toggle to permit the door to be opened. If both holes are pinned or if a single pin is placed so that it passes through the other hole in the solid bar the assembly is securely locked.

摘要： In a sheet metal cab structure for a vehicle provided with a rollover protection structure including a vertical post and a door hingedly mounted for movement between open and closed positions about a vertical axis closely adjacent the post, a door holding assembly including a base mounted on the door and including a stop at one end thereof positioned to engage the sheet metal cab at a location whereat the sheet metal is backed by the vertical post when the door is in an open position, a crank having a handle and an eccentric is journalled in the base and a resilient link is connected to the eccentric. Selectively operable securing devices including one end of the link remote from the eccentric and a bracket secured to the cab wall are provided so that the link may be selectively connected or disconnected from the sheet metal cab. A rotation limiting device is provided for limiting rotation of the crank relative to the base so that a resilient, over center action is provided allowing the resilience of the link to cause the stop to firmly abut the sheet metal cab at the location where it engages the same.
