摘要： A process of making a textile material antimicrobial includes treating the textile material using an exhaust process, where the liquor includes a solvent and one or more antimicrobial agents selected from silver cations, a quaternary ammonium organosilane compound, polyglucosamine, propiconazole, and polyhexamethylene biguanide, and where the one or more antimicrobial agents form a homogeneous mixture with the solvent. The process further includes drying the textile material to evaporate water in the textile material and curing the textile material after the water in the textile material has been evaporated by the drying, where curing is conducted at a curing temperature of at least 150° C. and of at most 205° C.

摘要： The invention relates to a printable one-component swelling paste made of an aqueous mixture of a water-soluble polymer containing carboxyl groups, and at least one multifunctional alcohol as crosslinker and optionally further additives such as thickeners, the carboxyl groups of the polymer being neutralized to 40-65 mole-%. The invention also relates to the use of the swelling paste for producing water-swellable yarns, fabrics, nonwovens, or films. After coating the swelling paste on a support, a thermal subsequent treatment is effected for the purpose of drying and crosslinking the swelling paste.

摘要： A process for the dyeing of fiber materials with water-soluble anionic dyes, in particular those having a fiber-reactive group, is described, according to which dyeing is carried out using low-electrolyte or entirely electrolyte-free and/or low-alkali or entirely alkali-free dye solutions (dye liquors, printing pastes) and in which a fiber material is used which was modified by means of a saturated straight-chain or branched aliphatic or cycloaliphatic compound which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more hydroxy groups and contains at least one primary, secondary or tertiary amino group or quaternary ammonium group and at least one hydrolyzable ester group, it also being possible for the aliphatic radical in this compound to be interrupted by one or more hetero groups. Modifikation of the fiber material is carried out such that the aliphatic compound mentioned which contains amino and ester groups is applied to the fiber material in aqueous solution and the impregnated material is subjected to a heat treatment. Furthermore, a few new aliphatic compounds containing amino and ester groups are described which can be used for the modification of the fiber material.

摘要： A process for preparing a thermosensitive fibrous structure which includes adding a fibrous substrate mainly composed of cellulosic fiber, microcapsules including a thermochromic material, a cationic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant to a dye bath maintained at a temperature of not higher than 90.degree. C. and then adding an agent for imparting exhaustion property in the bath at a pH not more than 7, thereby causing the fibrous substrate to exhaust the microcapsules from the bath. According to this process, there can be obtained a thermosensitive fibrous structure wherein microcapsules are almost completely exhausted and uniformly provided.

摘要： Disclosed is a high yield process for preparing substituted imidazoline fabric conditioning compounds. In this process, a fatty acylating agent, e.g., fatty acid, is reacted with a specific polyamine, and the product of this reaction is reacted with an esterifying agent, both reactions being conducted under specifically-defined conditions. Aqueous dispersions containing these substituted imidazoline compounds possess desirable storage stability, viscosity, and fabric conditioning properties.

摘要： The aging period for chemically stabilized, adhesive activated polyester material can be reduced by contacting the material before it is substantially drawn or stretched with a composition containing a defined epoxide compound catalyzed with ions of at least one of potassium, cesium, rubidium or ammonium at a pH of between about 7.5 to about 13.0. The composition preferably also contains chloride, bromide or iodide ions which stabilizes the pH and/or an amine which improves adhesion to rubber.
