摘要： It is intended to improve texture of a decoration using a stitch line while improving workability in sewing for forming the stitch line at a skin material, to promote manufacturing efficiency as compared to formation of a stepped shape only by sewing, and to reduce the number of steps. A skin material is used for a conveyance seat, and is molded using a die. The skin material includes a linearly-extending stepped portion having a stepped shape transferred from the die, and a stitch line sewn along the stepped portion. The stepped portion serves as a guide upon formation of the stitch line.

摘要： A sewing system comprises a sewing machine, a camera that captures an image of a reference position for sewing, a robot arm that holds the sewing machine and the camera, and a controller. The controller controls operations of forming a first stitch position that results from stitching of the sewing machine, and forming a second stitch position that results from stitching of the sewing machine after rotating the sewing machine at a prescribed angle about a rotation axis that passes through a needle center position stored by the controller. The controller further performs calibration processing that calibrates the needle center position stored by the controller, based on each position of the first stitch position and the second stitch position within image capture ranges of capture images that are obtained by capturing images of the first stitch position and the second stitch position using the camera.

The arm portion is provided with a drive shaft extending in a first direction. The thread spool mounting portion includes a thread spool pin to be inserted through a through hole of a thread spool. The bobbin winder is provided further to one end side of the arm portion than the thread spool mounting portion. The first guide portion is provided further to another end side of the arm portion than the thread spool mounting portion. The second guide portion is provided further to another end side in the first direction of the arm portion than the first guide portion. The partition wall member is disposed between the thread spool pin and the first guide portion in a second direction.

The base contains a needle passage opening and includes a plurality of guide grooves located at mutually spaced locations from one another on the under side of the base. The guide grooves are used for preparing pipings which extend in parallel to one another in the fabric. The middle guide groove extends centrally to the needle passage opening. The width of the needle passage opening essentially corresponds to a maximum overstitch width of the needle of a zig-zag sewing machine. A second and third guide groove extend, in a short distance, to the side of the needle passage opening. A fourth guide groove is provided with a distance from the middle guide groove which exactly corresponds to the mutual distance between the second and third guide grooves.

The additional sewing parts, such as flaps or pocket-bag blanks, can be fed manually. The fastening unit thereby extends above a resting surface on top of the web and in the direction toward the rear end of the folding stamp. The folding stamp is thereby arcuate or C-shaped in longitudinal cross-section, which gives it a compact construction and gives the operator an unimpeded view of the region in which he must feed the additional sewing parts.
