摘要： A system for controlling fan operation of an agricultural implement includes a tank configured to store an agricultural product and a conduit configured to receive the dispensed agricultural product. Furthermore, the implement includes a conduit fan configured to supply pressurized air to the conduit such that the pressurized air conveys the dispensed agricultural product through the conduit and a tank fan configured to supply pressurized air to the tank. Additionally, a computing system is configured to determine a first pressure of the pressurized air within the conduit and a second pressure of the pressurized air within the tank based. Moreover, the computing system is configured to determine a pressure differential between the first and second pressures. Furthermore, the computing system is configured to control a flow of the pressurized air supplied to the tank based on the determined pressure differential.

摘要： A hot melt adhesive supply system is disclosed. The hot melt adhesive supply system includes an outer container defining an upper cavity and a lower cavity. The upper cavity includes an inner container having a top opening to receive unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces and a bottom aperture. The system also includes a dispensing mechanism between the upper cavity and the lower cavity. The dispensing mechanism regulates the dispensing of the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces from the upper cavity to the lower cavity. The dispensing mechanism includes a base plate and one or more rotating members that rotate to move the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces through a gap defined between the base plate and the bottom aperture. The system also includes a transfer conduit that communicates the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces from the lower cavity to a hot melt adhesive melter.

摘要： An air system for supplying product to the product tank of an agricultural implement has an air supply and at least one elongated conduit for delivering air entrained product to the tank. There is at least one outlet in the tank formed as a hollow elbow having a generally downwardly directed outlet, a generally upwardly directed outlet and a transverse inlet coupled to the conduit. The elbow includes an upper generally cylindrical region comprising a cyclone chamber for swirling the incoming air entrained product directing at least a portion of the air flow upwardly toward the upwardly directed outlet while allowing the product to fall in a generally helical pattern through a generally frusto-conical region, whereby material migrates downwardly and air upwardly releasing the material to fall in a gentle spiral and air to exit from the upper region of the tank.

摘要： A granular material handling apparatus has a metering assembly comprises a metering module removably mounted in an opening in a hopper. The metering module comprises a meter roller and a front metering member with a metering edge parallel to and at a fixed metering gap distance from the meter roller. A removable flow structure receives granular material flowing over the metering edge and directs same into a distribution assembly mounted under the material metering assembly and comprising venturi devices spaced along the hopper under the metering module and an air supply conduit. Each venturi device is connected to the air supply conduit and is adapted at an output end thereof for connection to a distribution conduit, and defines a product input opening. The flow structure is operative to direct the received granular material substantially equally into each of the product input openings.
