    • A warning device for monitoring a distance of a vehicle from an obstacle is described. The warning device includes at least one sensor for detecting an obstacle, an analyzing and controlling device for estimating a distance of the vehicle from the obstacle on the basis of an output signal of the at least one sensor, and at least one warning signal element controlled by the analyzing and controlling device to generate a near range warning signal when a distance estimated by the analyzing and controlling device is smaller than a limit value. The analyzing and controlling device includes a device for estimating a risk of collision of the vehicle with the obstacle on the basis of the estimated distance and a speed of the vehicle. The analyzing and controlling device controls the at least one warning signal element to output a far range warning signal when the estimated distance is greater than the limit value and the estimate indicates a risk of collision.

    • A vehicular anti-theft system with brake line valve including a valve mechanism connected to the plurality of brake lines between a master cylinder and the associated brakes of a vehicle. The valve mechanism includes a housing with a solenoidal valve therein associated with the brake lines. The solenoidal valve has a first orientation with the solenoidal valve preventing control of the brakes by the master cylinder. The solenoidal valve further has a second orientation with the solenoidal valve thereby allowing control of the brakes by the master cylinder. The solenoidal valve includes a relay adapted to transfer between the first orientation upon and the second orientation. The solenoidal valve is adapted remain in a present orientation thereof without consuming power. Lastly, control circuitry is connected to the valve mechanism.

    • An automatic actuated baffle for a dump box includes a baffle, a first actuating link, a second actuating link, and an actuation device. One end of the baffle is pivotally attached to a side wall of the dump box and the other end of the baffle is pivotally attached to one end of the first actuating link. The other end of the first actuating link is pivotally attached to one end of the second actuating link. The other end of the second actuating link is pivotally attached to the side wall of the dump box. Retraction of a fully extended actuation end of the actuation device causes the second actuating link to pivot, which causes the baffle to extend outward from the side wall of the dump box.

    • A protective cover having a non-slip surface for mounting to a motorcycle frame area is shaped to conform to the motorcycle frame area and includes an interior surface formed from rubber and an exterior surface formed from an epoxy mixture to which a granulated material is applied for providing the non-slip surface. The protective cover has a carbon fiber layer formed between the interior surface and the exterior surface, and the carbon fiber layer is affixed to the interior surface and the exterior surface by epoxy resin material. Holes are formed through the interior surface, the exterior surface, and the carbon fiber layer for inserting fasteners therethrough to mount the protective cover to the motorcycle frame area, and, when the protective cover is mounted to the motorcycle frame area, the interior surface is adjacent to the motorcycle frame area to prevent the protective cover from scratching the motorcycle frame area.
