    • A tire support stand includes a connecting arm and a telescopic arm, both connected to a securing bracket. The telescopic arm is pivotally connected to the securing bracket, while the connecting arm is firmly affixed to the securing bracket. The telescopic arm includes a sleeve member and an extendable arm which extends in and out of the sleeve member. The tire support stand has two configurations: (1) an upright configuration in which the connecting arm is mounted in a tripod; and (2) an L-shaped configuration in which the connecting arm is mounted to a trailer hitch receiver. In the upright configuration, a spindle platform is mounted on top of the connecting arm for receiving a tire. In the L-shaped configuration, the telescopic arm is rotated to a position perpendicular to the connecting arm and the spindle platform is mounted on top of the telescopic arm for receiving a tire.

    • A tired-wheel having a wheel-rim and a tire thereon is automatically serviced. The method includes loading the tired-wheel onto a motor-driven support mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation, centering the tired-wheel with respect to the axis of rotation, and holding it by means of the motor-driven rotatable support, urging the wheel-rim against the rotatable support by means of an urging device so as to make the tired-wheel rigid in rotation with the rotatable support, disassembling the tire from the wheel-rim by means of a pair of working arms, moving away the urging device and removing the disassembled tire, loading a new tire onto the wheel-rim, repositioning the urging device and urging the wheel-rim against the rotatable support, and mounting the new tire onto the wheel-rim by means of the pair of working arms.

    • A device for mounting and demounting tubeless tires with respect to wheel assemblies includes a wheel support structure upon which a tubeless tire and wheel assembly is positioned. An elongate vertically disposed mounting member is releasably locked to the wheel support structure and projects vertically upwardly therefrom through the tire and wheel assembly. A wheel clamping member projects through openings in the mounting member and is urged into clamping relation with the wheel by an adjustable threaded clamping bolt. An elongate lever has a tire removing member at one end thereof, which is insertable between the tire bead and the wheel rim so that, when the lever is maintained in engaging relation with the mounting member and is moved through an arc of 360 degrees, each tire bead will be successively removed from the wheel. A tire mounting shoe is mounted on the other end of the lever and is operable to stretch and force the tire bead upon the wheel rim when the lever is moved through an arc of 360 degrees and is maintained in engaging relation with the mounting member.
