摘要： A method and auxiliary work piece table for enhancing the utility of a milling machine or like machines. The auxiliary work table is installed onto an original work piece table and has mounting features as similar to the original work piece table after raising a tool holder by installing a spacer on a support column. This arrangement restores the original vertical workpiece clearance to allow normal use of the milling machine for said workpieces sizes machinable by said machine using the original worktable. The auxiliary work table is easily removable when additional vertical space is required as when very tall work pieces are to be machined, and is then able to be quickly reinstalled afterward to again enable machining of workpieces machinable using said original work table.

摘要： An improved miter saw, including a base, a workbench, a stop plate, a swing arm, a motor, a cutting assembly, and an extension platform. The workbench is rotationally disposed on the base. The swing arm is rotationally disposed on the rear of the workbench. The stop plate is disposed on the rear of the base. The extension platform is disposed on two sides of the base. The upper surface of the extension platform and the supporting surface of the base are in a same plane. The extension platform is movably connected to the base through a guide rod. The extension platform comprises an L-shaped limit block and a recess corresponding to the L-shaped limit block. The L-shaped limit block is adapted to turn over in the recess horizontally or vertically along the length direction of a workpiece mounted on the workbench for cutting.

The planer and thicknesser further comprises an upper table having front and rear sections mounted on the frame, wherein a slot is located between the front and rear sections of the upper table, and a lower table moveably mounted within the passageway. The planer and thicknesser also comprises a cutting drum rotatably mounted within the frame such that a portion of the cutting drum projects upwardly through the slot and a portion of the cutting drum projects downwardly into the passage way. The planer and thicknesser also comprises a cover mounted above the upper table capable of being moved from a first position where it covers a portion of the cutting drum to a second position where it does not cover a portion of the cutting drum.

摘要： A drill press including a vertically disposed support post and a pivot assembly supported upon the support post is disclosed. A table is supported on the pivot assembly. The pivot assembly is pivotable about a first substantially horizontal axis, with the table pivoting about the first horizontal axis jointly with the pivot assembly. The table also is pivotable relative to the pivot assembly about a second substantially horizontal axis. The pivot assembly also may be pivoted around a vertical axis defined by the post and may be raised and lowered along the vertical post. A clamp plate is adjustable secured to the table and a telescoping extension arm is fixably secured relative to the table by the clamp plate. A guide fence is slidably disposable along the upper surface of the table and may be secured at various locations. A clamp may be adjustably secured either directly to the table or to the guide fence to vertically clamp a workpiece on the table. The table also includes an opening and an inner table which is removably disposable and supported within the opening. A router may be removably secured to the lower surface of the table, with the router bit disposed generally beneath the drill chuck.

The bottom surface of one end of each platform-extension has a longer hingedly attached telescopic support leg, with the opposite bottom end of each platform-extension having a shorter hingedly attached leg which is structured for clamping between the panels of a portable work bench of the type having a central full length vise or clamping arrangement. Each platform-extension is essentially a mirror image of the other for positioning one platform-extension on each side of a portable tool having an integral material support platform such as a miter or radial arm saw which is supported conveniently elevated by the work bench containing the vise. The short legs of the platform-extensions each include an adjustable depth gauge for readily positioning the top surface of the platform-extensions flush with the top surface of the miter or radial arm saw material support platform prior to tightening the vise of the portable work bench to secure the platform-extensions stationary ready for use.
