    • A power tool includes a table structure defining a blade slot, a frame supporting the table structure, a blade assembly mounted within the frame, and a dust cover assembly. The blade assembly includes a blade positioned within the blade slot, a motor assembly to rotate the blade, and a carriage assembly supporting the motor assembly and pivotably mounted to adjust the angular orientation of the blade relative to the table structure. The carriage assembly includes a cover arranged to define a gap between an upper edge of the cover and the underside of the table structure. The dust cover assembly is mounted between the carriage assembly and the table structure to substantially cover the gap at all angular orientations of the blade relative to the table structure. The dust cover assembly is mounted for relative movement relative to at least one of said carriage assembly and said table structure.

    • A power tool includes a table structure having a work surface and a motor assembly having an output drive positioned under the work surface. The motor assembly is adjustable relative to the work surface between a first position that is close to the work surface and a second position that is further from the work surface. A fan member is coupled to the motor assembly to generate an airflow. A blade case is positioned under the work surface including a first sidewall and an opposing second sidewall, and an air guide configured to channel the airflow into the blade case through an opening in the first sidewall. The air guide is further configured to move with the motor assembly between the first position and the second position. The air guide covers the opening in both the first position and the second position.

    • A process and a cutting machine for working of lying work pieces, particularly plates, glass-sheets, etc. on a machine-tool by means of a cutting fluid-jet (3), particularly of a laser-jet or a high-pressure water-jet on a lattice-like support (9). At least one fixed work piece is cut by the fluid-jet (3), especially water jet exiting from at least one first nozzle (2), so that the work piece (1 a) is preferably separated by a cut gap (7) from a rest piece (1 b). The respective working position of the nozzle (2) relative the work piece (1 a) is controlled. For hindering a tilting of the work piece (1 a) and/or the rest piece (1 b) during the processing of the work piece (1 a), border-fixing and distance-holding elements (8) are associated with the cut gap (7) in such a manner, that the neighboring border-fixing and distance-holding elements (8) are arranged from each other in a distance depending on the outline of the work piece (1 a) and/or of a respective length of the cut gap (7). The border-fixing and distance-holding means (8) are attached to the cut gap (7) or are introduced into the cut gap (7). The material of the border-fixing and distance-holding elements (8) is selected preferably from the following group of materials: mesh-able adhesives, materials containing adhesive and/or elastic materials.

    • A glass transporting and locating system for a glass cutting table with a bridge extending across the glass cutting table which is movable along the length of the glass cutting table. A glass workpiece feeding table is positioned adjacent the glass cutting table and adapted to support a glass workpiece to be fed to the glass cutting table. At least one vacuum chuck is carried by the bridge at a position which can overlap a glass workpiece supported on the glass workpiece feeding table when the bridge is at one end of the glass cutting table. The system includes a device for aligning the glass workpiece which is supported on the glass workpiece feeding table. The alignment device may include a retractable stop on the bridge or on the glass workpiece feeding table. The retractable stop on the bridge may also be used for advancing finished workpieces off of the glass cutting table. The glass workpiece transporting and locating system is adapted to be easily retrofitted to existing glass cutting tables.
